Californication EpisodesSeason 4

Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Californication Page

  • Exile On Main St.
Hank gets bailed out of jail and discovers he's the toast of the town thanks to his involvement in the literary sex scandal. However, not all is hunky-dory for the author who finds he is facing a lawsuit and that Karen and Becca want nothing to do with him.

  • Suicide Solution
Hank's efforts to strike a conciliatory chord with Becca by taking her to a guitar store run by musician Zakk Wylde fall flat. Later, Hank takes a meeting with an off-the-wall Oscar-winning actor who's set to play him in the film of the novel. At the Runkle house, Marcy is literally becoming sick of Hank, and Hank's effort to pen an apology to Becca takes a bad turn.

  • Home Sweet Home
Hank is surprised and pleased when Karen invites him to stay with her upon his release from the hospital after his accidental overdose; Becca is invited to join a band composed of four teenage punks. Meanwhile, anxious over the delay in getting the film going, the producer confronts Charlie at the Runkle Residence and leaves smitten with Marcy.

  • Monkey Business
Hank gets seriously bad news when his attorney notifies him that the statutory-rape case is going to trial, but first he and Charlie take the completed film script to the director, producer and financier and the meeting takes a most unusual turn. Meanwhile, Karen and Marcy buy a home-pregnancy test to see if the latter is with child, while the former takes an interest in Becca's bandmate's father, an artist.

  • Freeze-Frame
Charlie has a serious shaving accident and Marcy rushes him to the ER, where a doctor gives them surprising news about Charlie's vasectomy. Meanwhile, Hank has an awkward encounter with Mia and the actress who will be playing her in the upcoming film. Later, Hank is invited to Becca's band's show, where he meets Karen's new man.

  • Lawyers, Guns And Money
A compromising photo of Hank with two young ladies has the DA rethinking a plea bargain, his attorney reconsidering him as a client and actress Sasha Bingham reassessing her role in the movie. Later, Marcy and producer Stu Beggs wax rhapsodic over body waxing; and Becca and her band cause a ruckus at a Venice tattoo establishment.

  • The Recused
Abby and Hank's relationship intensifies, so Abby decides to recuse herself from his case and attempts to get one of her senior partners to represent him. Meanwhile, Hank discovers Karen and Ben are becoming closer; Charlie scores with Abby's secretary in his quest to bed 100 women; and Marcy and Stu, nervous about facing a pitch meeting at Showtime, request Charlie's help.

  • Lights. Camera. Asshole
Cash-strapped Hank takes a job polishing dialogue for the sequel to a zombie blockbuster, but the position may be dead in the water after he hits on a comely woman whose affiliation with the film's star could lead to trouble. Elsewhere, Marcy informs Stu about her pregnancy, but withholds the info that it may be Charlie's baby; and Charlie gets nabbed playing house with a real-estate agent.

  • Another Perfect Day
Following his final pretrial meeting with Abby, Hank returns to the hotel and discovers he's been evicted for not paying his bill, but after a night in his car Karen and Becca agree to take him in. Meanwhile, Peggy and Charlie's sexually charged romance gets even kinkier; and later in the evening Becca and Pearl go for a joyride in Hank's Porsche.

  • The Trial
The day of Hank's trial begins badly after an uncomfortable encounter with Mia's father, Bill, in front of the courthouse, and then all the witnesses to his "good" character do less character building and more inadvertent character assassination. Charlie offers some damning testimony about Hank's run-ins with the director and his wife, while Karen paints her ex as immature, drunken and jealous. And Bill drives what might be the final nail in Hank's coffin.

  • The Last Supper
Hank's reaction to the verdict in his trial sends him to Charlie's house, where he meets his friend's sexually voracious real-estate agent and an old acquaintance who keeps him company. Later, Hank decides to buy a used Porsche with the cash he made from the zombie-movie rewrite, but before he can take it on a road trip, he gets a call to come hang out with Karen and Becca.

  • ...And Justice For All
Hank waits for his sentence to be handed down, but in the meantime there's a film-kickoff party to attend, and he's surprised to see Karen and her date there, and even more surprised by some news they deliver about Becca. The festive party takes a turn for the worse with the arrival of actor Eddie Nero, who is fully inhabiting his role as Hank, and goes so far as to make an inappropriate pass at Karen.
