  • Episode 101
    The Carbon Cops visit the Barries, a family that has made a conscious effort to save energy. However, an energy audit reveals that their home and lifestyle create carbon emissions more than five times the national average.

  • Episode 102
    The Carbon Cops visit the McSweeney-Glenwrights, a country family whose home has proved unbearably hot in summer and freezing in winter. Alas, installations to regulate the temperature have only made things worse.

  • Episode 103
    The Carbon Cops drop in on a group of 20-something student renters. Realizing that they will live with the reality of global warming in the future, the students take on a three-week challenge in which they try living with the predicted shortages of water, power, and fuel.

  • Episode 104
    The Carbon Cops visit the Bettenay/Fletchers, a three-generation family living in a massive rental home, who thought living together would allow them to save money to build their own new house, but have discovered their bills are astronomical.

  • Episode 105
    The Carbon Cops visit the Lanes, a family of six who love luxury and seldom give the environment a second thought. Mr. Lane confesses he doesn't believe things are as bad as people say, while his wife sees nothing wrong with washing and drying 12 towels each day.

  • Episode 106
    The Carbon Cops visit the McKinney-Lelliots, a family of five who keep the oven constantly on and crank up the heat in the winter. Challenged to bring their carbon emissions down by 50%, the family tries shortening shower time and using bikes and public transportation.
