With the assistance of Hollywood special FX wizard and "burn master" Mark Chadwick, Criss sets up a spectacular stunt where he is set ablaze two different times. First a partial body burn test by the Aladdin Hotel pool in Las Vegas, that lasts over 20 seconds. Then a full 46 sec. body burn with no hands or face protection that shoots 20 ft. flames off Criss at temperatures above 1500 degrees in front of a huge crowd on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.

LLevitation is one of the oldest practices of conjurers and fakirs, but "The World's Greatest Illusionist," Criss Angel, takes it to the streets in a 360-degree demonstration of the power of defying gravity. He will take a random stranger off the sidewalks of Downtown Fremont Street in Las Vegas and float them right in the middle of a crowd.

Determined to go beyond Houdini, Criss devised a plan to top Houdini's 1908 milk can escape by locking himself inside a wine barrel filled with water hanging over 8 stories above the ground all while being handcuffed. Complications arise such as the water temperature, the size of the wine barrel, the amount of time Criss is able to hold his breath under water, and the fact the barrel will plummet to the earth after the 2-minute timer runs out. Criss will also make a couple experience deja vu.

  • SUV Nail Bed
Lying on a bed of nails is an ancient Indian practice. Having a 4??? ton SUV drive over your body while lying on a bed of nails is crazy. Criss will take this ancient practice and demonstrate his modern version that his predecessors, both past and present, wouldn't think about. Most nail bed demonstrations consist of short nails spaced a maximum of one and a half inches apart allowing for equal weight distribution. Using a nail bed constructed of 8-inch nails, spaced 3 inches apart, Criss will lie flat over the nails. Raising the stakes higher, he will have an SUV Hummer drive on top of him while he lies atop this suicide bed.

  • Body Suspension
Master Piercer Alan Falkner is flown to Las Vegas to help Criss practice a mind over body demonstration of unique proportions. Despite warnings of wind and potential death, Criss demands to be suspended from a helicopter strung up by fishhooks through the skin of his back and limbs and then flown over the surreal canyons and rock formation of the beautiful Valley of Fire, 90 min. North of Las Vegas.

  • Buried Alive
With the help of rocker and director Rob Zombie, Criss reenacts his own funeral and attempts one of the most dangerous escape stunts in magic history. The "Buried Alive" demonstration proved fatal for "The Amazing Joe Burras" a magician from Fresno, CA. The stunt was successfully done by Banachek and Lance Burton who both are helping Criss put his own twist on this dangerous exercise. Rob Zombie will manacle Criss into a coffin and help lower him six feet under, on the Santa Clarita haunted house set of Rob's latest film Devil's Rejects in front of a viewing audience. Criss's grave is then filled with earth. With little oxygen and even less time Criss must escape death and slither out of solid ground.

  • Hellstromism
Based on hellstromism, an art that uses the mind to trigger a spectator's physical reaction, Criss is challenged by Las Vegas' Desert Dodge dealership to find a hidden key belonging to a Dodge Viper using hellstromism. If unable to find the key Criss will have to give the dealership $100,000 for the car, otherwise he will take the car home for free.

  • Superhuman
At times people have unbelievable strength some say due to adrenaline, so Criss decides to find out if this strength can be controlled. Determined to channel this strength, Criss has trained relentlessly. Held up by two chairs, one at his feet and one supporting his head and shoulders, Criss mystifies those in Master Toddy's gym having two Muay Thai boxers stand on top of him. In this episode Criss is able to channel this energy as he rips apart phone books, pushes over a tree, and lifts up parked cars and a random taxicab 2 feet off the ground, astounding people in the Aladdin Hotel taxi line.

  • Blind
When Criss closes his eyes he sees reality where others would see darkness. He demonstrated this to Mandy Moore on a joyride in her Mercedes convertible through the streets of Los Angeles. Trusting that Criss would be able to see reality while his vision was blocked, Mandy placed silver dollars over his eyes secured by black tape with a blindfold on top. As Mandy anxiously sits in the passenger's seat Criss drives blind, finding one of her favorite restaurants.

  • Oasis
Criss Angel attempts his most challenging and unprecedented escape ever. He will be sealed in an airtight chamber 24" by 6' and 7/8" thick. The chamber will be submerged in a 4' x 8' x 8' tank. He will be surrounded by almost 2,000 gallons of water, thousands of spectators, and news crews in New York City's Bryant Park. Criss will have up to 33 hours to figure out "The Greatest Escape Ever." Viewers will get an inside glimpse of Criss' experience through his audio diary and a camera perspective from within the air chamber. Also, Criss must escape when US Navy sailors tie him up during the 100' rope challenge in preparation for Oasis.

  • Building Walk

  • C4 Crate
Criss is fascinated by explosions and decides to experience the power of C4 in a uniquely public fashion in Downtown Las Vegas. • Prediction
Taking a tour through the history of magic Criss tours the Magic Castle in Los Angeles. Criss and his team are able to view rarely seen Houdini artifacts and the private seance room. • Chicken
Trying to prove which person is crazier, Criss and his comedy magician good friend, the Amazing Jonathan decide to play the ultimate game of chicken. Their rivalry begins with a small paintball game and an electric shock face off. Criss ups the ante daring Amazing Jonathan to hit him with a car. Criss trains with Mark Chadwick to learn how to deflect the impact of a car. The competition culminates with Criss standing in front of a brick wall as Amazing Jonathan revs his engine. After one false run, Amazing Jonathan barrels into Criss pushing through the brick wall. In this episode, Criss also performs a knife test in a sushi bar that could end his career.
