One crew gets the call to help a boy who has dislocated his elbow in a boating accident in one of the busiest channels in South Florida. Another crew responds to a call for a heart attack victim and must battle harsh sea conditions to save him. However, not all victims take the hazards of boating seriously, and one man thinks laughter is the best medicine when he slices his leg open on a propeller. But it's no laughing matter when Fireboat 1 has to respond to a raging yacht fire and send one of its own into the heart of the blaze. Episode 102 One crew responds to a call for a woman with a possible spine injury. The woman is on a boat in a crowded recreation area, and the firefighters have to be careful during the transfer to Fireboat 1, where one false move could be disastrous. Another crew faces their biggest challenge yet when they are called to battle an explosive fire on a freighter over 200 feet long. And four men face death when their fishing boat capsizes, pulling them miles out to sea in over a thousand feet of water. Fireboat 1 rushes to the scene in an attempt to save their lives before it's too late. Episode 103 The crew of Fireboat 1 battles treacherous conditions and scales a massive freighter to save its captain who is suffering from chest pains. Another crew races to save victims in the water when their party boat capsizes. Also, it will take every ounce of strength the team has to save an endangered species that has been struck by a boat propeller. And a family fears electrocution when their anchor gets stuck on a mysterious underwater cable. Episode 104 During his first call as Officer in Charge of the Fireboat, Lt. Reyes leads his team to save a 26-year-old patient who suffers a sudden, unexplained cardiac arrest. Another crew races against time searching for possible survivors in a submerged car. The fire team also maneuvers a risky transfer at sea for a patient with a mysterious illness. And when a mangrove fire breaks out in shallow waters, the crew commandeers a kayak to reach the fire. Episode 105 One fireboat crew rushes to the aid of three young men injured in a violent car crash on a bridge over the intercoastal. A call comes in for a boat with an 80-gallon fuel leak in its hull, and firefighters must board what is essentially a live bomb. When a man threatens to jump from a bridge with a rope around his neck, the Fireboat crew must evaluate their tactics, while another crew races to the scene of a capsized boat. Episode 106 One crew rushes to a vicious yacht fire, and their rookie operator is put to the test maneuvering against the wind and changing currents. When another crew sees an eerie flashlight shining up from the ocean floor, they search the treacherous waters in Government Cut looking for a missing diver. And a diesel spill on the Miami River could be an ecological disaster for both the Everglades and Biscayne Bay. Episode 107 Danger Coast follows the dramatic exploits of Miami-Dade County's elite waterborne Marine Operations Bureau as they fight against overwhelming odds to selflessly protect the public at large, while risking their own lives. Episode 108 A cruise ship must shock a patient to stabilize his heart before the Fireboat can get him to shore. A ship worker has severely cut his thumb using a drill press, and the crew must act fast to avoid amputation. Another crew is out of their element when they respond to a boat infested by Africanized bees. Javi helps a little girl in tears after she tumbled from the second level of her fishing boat. And when a stolen capsized boat has drifted into shallow waters, divers search for survivors. Episode 109 The Fireboat must save two victims badly injured in a head-on collision. Another crew searches in the black of night for stranded jet skiers. A man awaiting surgery meets the Fireboat halfway to the Bahamas for a risky ocean transfer, and a diver breaks down in the water.
