Dirt Page Pilot Ruthless Hollywood tabloid editor Lucy Spiller zeroes in on down-on-his-luck actor Holt McLaren), who is willing to trade gossip for publicity. And, as it happens, a rising star confides in Holt's girlfriend, Julia, that she's pregnant. Blogan Lucy sends Don to shoot Kira Klay's corpse, but Kira looks all too lively to him. Don also gets a visit from Prince Tyrese. It's not exactly a courtesy call. Nor is the visit Lucy receives from Drrt and Now owner Gibson Horne. Meanwhile, Holt looks for ways to help Julia, and Willa shows journalistic spunk in tracking down dirt on a Hollywood power couple known as "Blogan." Ovophagy Dirt Now is about to launch, and Lucy needs a cover story. One possibility: an ailing Christian-pop star. Lucy suspects that drugs made her sick and dispatches Don (who's being shadowed by the ghost of Kira Klay) to get the dirt. Then there's a missing R&B star. One way to him could be Prince Tyrese. Meanwhile, Holt is courted by a major producer while Julia has a hard time back on the set of her sitcom. And Lucy's brother Leo, a decorator, is hired by an action star. What To Expect When You're Expecting With a competitor about to publish a story on missing rapper Aundre G, Lucy squeezes Prince Tyrese even harder to get a heads-up on Aundre's whereabouts. And Lucy's mother announces that she'll remarry, on the 25th anniversary of Lucy's father's suicide. Meanwhile, Lucy finds out about Leo and Jack Dawson, and assigns Willa to get the dirt on a diet-and-exercise guru's stomach-stapling operation. And Kira goes into labor (in Don's mind, at least). You Don't Know Jack After bailing Don out of jail on a trespassing charge, Lucy publishes his photos of action star Jack Dawson in the arms of Leo; Brent is threatened by menacing visitors intent on finding out who told Lucy about the murder of Aundre G; an out-of-work, and out-of-control, Julia interrupts Holt's photo shoot; and Lucy spikes Willa's story on a diet-and-exercise guru's stomach-stapling operation because it's dull. The Secret Lives Of Altar Girls Lucy assigns her onetime mentor to help Willa probe the murder of a teenage girl in a small California town. Meanwhile, Holt and Lucy's mounting attraction for each other comes to a boil, while Julia sinks deeper into drugs and into the arms of Garbo. Come Together The fallout from the Jack Dawson story rattles DirtNow, but it rattles Leo a lot more. And fallout from the murdered-cheerleader story rattles Willa, but she finds an ally in Brent. Elsewhere, Lucy finds a rehab center for Julia; and Don takes up with another woman and, he adds, "I'm 99 percent sure this one's real." The Thing Under The Bed As troubling questions about her father's suicide prevent Lucy from sleeping, Willa sets out to get the dirt on a B-list sitcom star who won't say whom she's marrying. Meanwhile, Holt visits Julia at the rehab center. Then he visits Lucy. This Is Not Your Father's Hostage Situation Former child star Sammy Winter takes Lucy and her staff hostage. As he forces them to produce an entire issue about him, Lucy tries to determine if he's a true threat or a harmless has-been looking for a career boost. Meanwhile, Julia leaves rehab, but Holt is all the more fixated on Lucy. The Sexxx Issue To help everyone recover from the hostage crisis, Lucy decides it's time for the staff to have some fun and proposes a sex-themed issue. Meanwhile, Brent and Willa find themselves in a compromising position after they make it a threesome with a young woman they meet in a bar; Don faces intimacy issues with Abby, and Holt and Julia deal with similar concerns. Pap Smeared A young photographer offers to help Don as he competes on a story with a band of gangbangers-turned-paparazzi; Julia finds herself on the outs in Hollywood while Holt fears his relationship with Lucy might be exposed; and Brent resists Willa's attempts to separate business from pleasure. Caught On Tape Julia's sex tape with Johnny Gage turns up on the Web, and Lucy is accused of leaking it. Meanwhile, Don gets a mysterious assignment from a friend, and with her most-trusted photographer missing, Lucy must rely on Willa to help her save the magazine's image and her job. Ita Missa Est Rumor has it that Lucy's longtime rival is up for her job. And as Willa sets her sights on Lucy's job as well, Lucy receives a shocking revelation about her stalker. Meanwhile, Don continues his mysterious mission; and Holt and Julia reach a bitter climax.
