Fantasy Island (1998)  premiered on ABC on September 26, 1998. This series is a remake of the 1970s Fantasy Island, but with a few new twists. Mr. Roarke now has more powers and can do just about anything. His assistant Ariel also has a lot of different powers. Harry and Cal work there and are always trying to get off the island. Each episode guests come to the island to live out their fantasy, but in the end they learn their lives were fine before the fantasy. The special effects and stories make this one all the more fascinating than the original. This show is cool and hip.
