Forensics: You Decide EpisodesSeason 2

Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Forensics: You Decide Page

  • Workin' Hard For The Money
In a cramped New Jersey motel room, eight shots ring out and two construction workers lay dead. There are no witnesses and no apparent motive, but police do uncover one key piece of evidence: a bullet, but no murder weapon. The gun has gone underground with a notorious gang. Then, in an unexpected twist, another murder miles away in Pittsburgh might help ballistics experts find a heartless killer in a deadly love triangle.

  • Running For Her Life
A 15-year old girl in a race for her life is savagely beaten and killed in an Ohio cemetery. The case goes cold for nearly two decades, years that bring major advances in DNA technology. To catch this killer, forensic experts must do the impossible: come up with a DNA sample when none exists. In another story, two young men are gunned down on a Virginia riverbank ??? one survives, but is unable to talk. Shenandoah County Sheriff's detectives won't solve this case with bullets or blood. It will take a brilliant forensic geologist digging in the dirt and cell phone towers in the sky to nail a suspect who claims he was never there.

  • Deadly Obsession
Nineteen-year-old college student, Jodi Sanderholm, was the quintessential American girl. A beloved sister and friend, Jodi had a promising future ahead of her ??? until, that is, the day she turned into every parent's worst nightmare. After their daughter failed to come home, the Sanderholms feared the worst and contacted the police, but nothing was able to point anyone in the direction of the missing teenager. Jodi's dance team, however, provides a crucial name in the investigation: Justin Thurber, a local nobody who often spent time lurking around campus watching the girls in rehearsal. A team of human trackers venture out into the wilderness, conducting painstaking shoeprint analyses that finally lead them to what everyone feared they would find ??? Jodi's mangled body hidden deep in the rugged terrain. The entire case now hinges on a single arm hair that may have the power to put Thurber away and bring justice to Jodi and her family.

  • Deep In The Heart Of Murder
In a Texas-sized mystery, the body of a missing man turns up in the scrub brush of Lone Star cattle country ??? at least some of it does. The big-hearted cowboy's partial remains are all that determined local Sheriffs have to go on, except a long bet on forensic botany. The entire case depends on a toxicologist who had never worked a murder case before. Everyone is surprised by what she finds, especially a crafty suspect with a questionable past. In another story, a terrifying daylight home invasion in New York's quiet Hudson River valley leaves a venerated local restaurateur shot dead and his son clinging to life. The high profile investigation leaves no stone unturned in Cosimo's contentious business dealings. But it's a single wad of chewing gum left by the killer that breaks the case wide open.

  • Illegal Illusion
The Columbia Rive Gorge is the pristine setting for a bone-crushing car accident, involving evidence that doesn't add up. When a doctor examines the young victim, the mystery only deepens. The best evidence is a broken side mirror that could match thousands of cars anywhere. Forensic scientists at the Oregon State Police crime lab need to pinpoint which one, and link it to a driver who may have fled thousands of miles away. In another story, partial skeletal remains found along St. Petersburg's I-275 have police baffled and a community on edge. When detectives enlist a noted Forensic Anthropologist to find out who they belong to, they are lead into the shadowy world of strip clubs and a dangerous fugitive. FBI agents across the country pitch in to capture a slayer who left no trace but woman's bones and a picture of his own thumb.

  • Road Trip Killers
In a quiet Mississippi River town, a 55-year old civil war buff vanishes into thin air. Months later and hundreds of miles away, a skull is found buried in cement at a truck stop, and another mystery unfolds. It's a case that trails from Iowa to Arizona in a family's relentless pursuit to find out what really happened to the father they love. To crack this case investigators will have to pull out all the stops using DNA analysis, indented handwriting analysis, forensic dentistry, facial reconstruction, and maybe a little help from above.

  • Ride To Death
A small town in 1950's Canada is turned upside down when a local girl goes missing. The search comes to a horrific end when a young girl is found raped and fatally strangled in the woods near her home. The prime suspect is her 14 year old neighbor.

  • Rooted In Murder
Three construction workers, left murdered in the barn of a palatial estate, are the innocent victims of a crime that has authorities completely baffled. Was this a burglary gone wrong or something even more devious?

  • Backfired
Two stories; twenty nine-year old Leann Fletcher is shot to death in her bedroom. and Dawn Fletcher, an aspiring missionary from Olympia, Washington is savagely raped and killed while house sitting. Groundbreaking forensics are key to solving these cases.

  • Playing With Fire
Eighty-two year old, Lou Edna Jones, dies in an arson-related fire set to her own home and when authorities start digging, they learn it's the work of a serial arsonist.

  • Murder In Madison
