Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's The Grizzly Man Diaries Page In The Sanctuary Timothy Treadwell, camped out in the Big Green, tries to stay out of harm's way during his Grizzly neighbors' mating season. Later, Treadwell captures and describes an interesting and surprising Grizzly meal! Aunt Melissa Timothy introduces Aunt Melissa, one of his most studied bears, and her cubs, Emmy, Letterman and Rainbow. He sees Aunt Melissa aggressively defend her territory, and follows the fate of generations of her cubs. Two Timothys Treadwell introduces viewers to his assistant and kindred spirit, Timmy the fox. Timmy and his family provide companionship and entertainment for Treadwell, so when wolves begin to hunt Timmy's family, Treadwell must help his friends. The Salmon Run An early rain comes to the sanctuary, yet the creek is not deep enough for salmon to pass. Despite his reluctance to interfere with nature's way, Timothy wants to make sure his bears eat. Later, Treadwell has an incredible moment with a mother bear. The Cycles The cycles of mating, birth and leave-taking are explored as Treadwell intimately observes the coupling of bears and the miraculous springtime arrival of babies throughout the Grizzly Sanctuary. Fight Day Fall is approaching and competition for fish and space is fierce in the Grizzly Maze. Treadwell witnesses several intense altercations between alpha males, all while trying to protect his campsite from mischievous weasels. Day In The Life Treadwell comforts his friends, the animals, after a strong earthquake rocks the area. Also, he tries to protect a moose from quickly encroaching poachers. The Fall It's very late in the season and bears in the Grizzly Maze are bulking up for their big winter sleep. An unfamiliar, skinny, older bear arrives on the scene and his presence makes Timothy uncharacteristically wary and unnerved.
