  • In This Home On Ice
    Henley Boone has decided to take up residence in seemingly idyllic Haplin, just as a shocking murder occurs at the local pond. This horrific crime rekindles Happy Town's dark mysteries, including the whispers about an unknown, evil force that has come to be known as the "Magic Man," who may be responsible for the past disappearances of Haplin residents. Tommy Conroy, a small town deputy and son of the long-time popular sheriff, must help solve the crime while easing the town's growing fears. This is made more difficult when it becomes obvious that the residents are hiding secrets, and that includes its newest resident, Henley. .

  • I Came To Haplin For The Water
    Shaken by a grisly murder at the local pond and his father's bizarre, self-inflicted injury, Deputy Tommy Conroy reluctantly accepts the title of Sheriff bestowed on him by town matriarch Peggy Haplin. However Tommy's shocking discovery of Jerry Friddle's murderer forces him to keep yet another of the town's secrets with mixed emotions. Meanwhile, Henley appears to know a lot more about Haplin's dark side than she's letting on - drawing Merritt Grieves closer - but she's determined to get access to the forbidden third-floor room of the mysterious boarding house, no matter what it takes.

  • Polly Wants A Crack At Her
    An ominous fearsome hawk soars over Haplin's unsuspecting residents as the Thaw Fest celebration is about to start. Tommy must walk a precarious line when it comes to Friddle's murder, as a state investigator moves in to assist him. Andrew Haplin, still upset over girlfriend Georgia's assault, exacts revenge on who he believes to be the perpetrator - pays for the consequences. Meanwhile Henley is a victim of a bizarre car accident, but a handsome stranger not only comes to her rescue, but lures her into a surprising, sensual relationship. And when Thaw Fest finally arrives, it comes with chilling and tragic consequences.

  • Slight Of Hand
    When Rachel Conroy mysteriously vanishes, an eerie cloud settles over Haplin, as clues point to the return of the elusive Magic Man. Surprisingly, Tommy finds an unlikely ally while desperately searching for his wife. Meanwhile, Handsome Dan announces he has to leave Haplin, then unexpectedly turns up elsewhere. Henley manages to get her stolen property back from Greggy Stiviletto and uses it to blackmail a member of Haplin's powerful "first" family. Finally, Tommy investigates some gruesome evidence that ironically could mean good news for many of Haplin's families.

  • This Is Why We Stay
    While the heat is on Tommy to find the elusive Magic Man, a skittishly fearful Rachel wants to flee Haplin because of her kidnapping experience. The pressure she gets from John Haplin to remember her ordeal upsets her even more. And in Merritt Grieves' quest to find out about Rachel's kidnapping, he reveals a long-kept secret to her. Meanwhile Det. Hobbs is convinced that Greggy Stiviletto knows who severed the hand that was found in a loaf of bread at the Our Daily bakery; Henley returns the goat-handled hammer to Peggy Haplin for a large sum of money, but in the process gets a real feel for the reach of the town matriarch's overwhelming power; and Georgia and Andrew's blissful day in the woods takes a shocking turn.

  • Questions And Antlers
    The police interrogation of John Haplin regarding the missing Lauryn Ward intensifies when new evidence also links John to the gruesome Friddle murder. Meanwhile Tommy Conroy views the future of his relationship with Big Dave anxiously after a terrifying nightmare about their boyhood friendship; town matriarch Peggy Haplin is wooed by Merritt Grieves and the two form an unlikely bond; Henley's mission to get back her money and goat's head hammer leads her to her former lover, Greggy Stiviletto; and Georgia and Andrew experience a horrifying time in the woods with Handsome Dan.

  • Dallas Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
    The townsfolk mourn Big Dave's passing; Merritt and Henley plot to gain possession of the hammer; Handsome Dan investigates the Magic Man kidnappings; Tommy learns his mother's death may not have been from a stroke; the Meadows Boarding House widows are jealous when Merritt accepts a party invitation from Peggy Haplin; Dot Meadows regrets filing a police report after discovering dead birds in the woods.

  • Blame It On Rio Bravo
    News of the Magic Man's capture is spreading through town, which brings the Stiviletos, John Haplin and others to the sheriff's office wanting to impart vigilante justice. During the showdown, Tommy faces off with Griff about the goat's head hammer, Merritt wields influence and Peggy Haplin terrifies her grandson Andrew. In other events, John Haplin discovers that his wife Carol has undergone a strange metamorphosis.
