  • Everybody Hates Rejection
    Rochelle decides to host a neighborhood watch meeting after Julius' truck is stolen, but her good intentions quickly turn competitive when her new neighbor, Louise, thinks she'd make a better block captain than Rochelle. Meanwhile, Chris sets out to break his streak of bad luck with the ladies by asking out a new girl in the neighborhood, Yvette. In sharp contrast to his older brother, Drew volunteers to be a crossing guard and can't keep the girls away, causing a major traffic problem.

  • Everybody Hates The Class President
    Hoping to make a better life for himself at Corleone Junior High, Chris throws his hat in the ring for Class President and asks Greg to be his running mate. However, when an election poll reveals that Chris has no chance of winning without someone more popular on the ticket, Chris drops Greg like a hot potato, igniting a rivalry between the two best friends. Meanwhile, Rochelle takes it personally when Julius is diagnosed with high blood pressure, so she decides to take drastic measures to reduce his stress.

  • Everybody Hates Elections
    After failing to make an impression at the town hall meeting, Chris realizes that he needs to deliver the best campaign speech of all time if he's going to win the election for class president, but when his opponent, Caruso, steals his speech, Chris is driven to extreme measures. Meanwhile, Rochelle rents out the upstairs apartment to Mr. Omar, who has a revolving door of lady friends staying with him.

  • Everybody Hates A Liar
    After Chris accidentally misleads the neighborhood into thinking he and Tasha are dating, Rochelle gets quite an earful from Tasha's grandmother, Louise. Meanwhile, Juliu panics when he finds out the redemption center for his precious trading stamps is closing its doors, and Drew feels neglected by Rochelle, who doesn't have much time for him lately.

  • Everybody Hates Malvo
    Chris is honored when Doc finally entrusts him with watching the cash register, but the situation goes from good to really bad when Chris is robbed by the neighborhood's notorious repeat-offender, Malvo. Then, when Chris refuses to tell Doc who robbed the place for fear that Malvo will retaliate, Doc has no other choice but to fire Chris. Meanwhile, Julius surprises the family with an outdated betamax machine, but Tonya gets in big trouble when she accidentally tapes a cartoon over his precious "stories" (aka soap operas).

  • Everybody Hates The Buddy System
    Chris' new principal, Principal Edwards, decides that the best way to solve the tension between Chris and Caruso is to pair them up as buddies on the school field trip. Meanwhile, Rochelle discovers that her favorite hoop earrings are missing and Tonya's name is written all over the crime. Julius sets out to find a Wayne Gretzky hockey jersey for Drew.

  • Everybody Hates Promises
    After the school newspaper runs several inflammatory stories about Chris and his class presidency, Chris must defend himself against Caruso and his classmates at an impeachment hearing. Meanwhile, Rochelle's freeloading brother, Michael, comes to stay with them after his mother throws him out of the house, but he quickly gets on Julius' last nerve. Also, Drew puts Tonya through a vigorous training before teaching her how to jump double-dutch.

  • Everybody Hates Thanksgiving
    When Julius' successful younger brother joins the family for Thanksgiving, Julius gets in the competitive spirit, determined to make the perfect meal. However, things go badly after Rochelle realizes they forgot to put the turkey in the oven and Chris burns the family - favorite macaroni and cheese.

  • Everybody Hates Superstition
    After Julius lends Chris a pair of lucky socks, Chris begins to notice that he can do no wrong. Meanwhile, Drew and Tonya decide to play their parents, Rochelle and Julius, against each other. Drew enters his school's talent show, but no one in the family has the heart to tell him he has a bad voice.

  • Everybody Hates Kris
    Julius and Chris pick up extra work for the holidays, dressing up as Santa Claus and one of his elves to entertain the kids at a local department store. Unfortunately, Julius gets fired for terrorizing the kids when they make the mistake of asking for expensive gifts, and Chris lands in the hospital where he meets a mysterious man named Kris.

  • Everybody Hates Eggs
    For a classroom lesson on parenting skills, Chris and Greg are each assigned an egg to care for as if it were their own child, but the task proves quite challenging, especially after Chris' mom decides to show him what it really means to be a parent. Meanwhile, Julius puts the family under a microscope after he learns that their electricity bill is over budget by 25 dollars, and Tonya is scared to go to sleep because she suspects Drew is a werewolf.

  • Everybody Hates Hall Monitors
    Hoping to get more respect from his classmates and to stop being Caruso's punching bag, Chris signs up to be a hall monitor. However, when the kids still don't take him seriously, Greg suggests that Chris step up his game. Unfortunately, his newfound power as hall monitor goes right to his head, even threatening his friendship with Greg. Tonya discovers that her girlfriends are only hanging out with her to get closer to Drew. A sleep-deprived Julius struggles to get a little peace and quiet when he can't seem to escape Rochelle and her constant complaints about her new job.

  • Everybody Hates Snow Day
    When Chris accidentally shows up for school on a snow day, he and Principal Edwards are stuck with each other until they can reach Chris parents. Back at home, Julius realizes that Chris is missing and sets out on foot to find him. Meanwhile, when Rochelle finds herself the victim of a subway robbery, she can't help but give the criminal a piece of her mind and she has plenty to say.

  • Everybody Hates The Substitute
    A scholarly substitute teacher makes Chris' life a living hell by holding him to a higher standard than his classmates. Meanwhile, Tonya learns that she can always get her way by accusing Drew of hitting her, and Mr. Omar gets on Julius' last nerve when he takes advantage of his neighborly generosity.

  • Everybody Hates Cutting School
    With their teacher Ms. Morello out for the day, Chris and Greg decide to cut school and go see the movie "Ghostbusters." The boys think they're home free until they run into Ms. Morello at the movie theatre. Meanwhile, Drew and Tonya are a little nervous when Rochelle decides to help out at their school's book fair. Julius spends a frustrating day at the DMV trying to renew his license.

  • Everybody Hates Chain Snatching
    When Chris thwarts Malvo's attempt at stealing a gold chain from Vanessa, Malvo gives Chris one day - or suffer the consequences - to produce a replacement necklace. Meanwhile, Rochelle's imagination runs wild when she discovers Julius has been hiding a credit card from her for over 15 years. Tonya tries desperately to be the 98th caller to a radio station in order to win tickets to a Billy Ocean concert.

  • Everybody Hates DJ's
    When the neighborhood DJ is arrested in the middle of a party, Chris steps in for him and proves to be a huge hit with the crowd. Unfortunately, his new career takes a bad turn when he borrows his mom's James Brown album and accidentally scratches it. Meanwhile, Julius takes Drew to a magic show, but passes out when he sees a rabbit - a phobia dating back to his childhood.

  • Everybody Hates Baseball
    Chris is put in a difficult position when he must choose between going to a baseball game with his dad and Drew and going to the movies with Tasha. Rochelle is overcome with motherly guilt after she realizes she forgot to mail Tonya's letter to the Billy Ocean fan club, and Rochelle's freeloading brother, Michael, asks Vanessa on a date, but has to borrow money from Julius to pay for it.

  • Everybody Hates Gambling
    Chris becomes Bed-Stuy's favorite odds-maker after Doc discovers he has a natural talent for predicting a game's outcome. However, Chris' lucky streak comes to a crashing halt when a bookie, Paulie, shows up at Chris' front door. Meanwhile, Tonya decides it's about time she beat Drew at checkers, and Julius goes behind Rochelle's back and places a bet on the upcoming basketball game, not realizing it's his son - Chrissy the Black - calling the shots.

  • Everybody Hates Dirty Jokes
    After secretly listening to his parents' comedy albums, Chris tries out some dirty jokes on his classmates and discovers that making people laugh is the key to popularity, but his teacher has a different take on the situation. Rochelle decides the best way to get her mother, Maxine, out of her business is to find her a man, and Drew begins getting unwanted attention from a girl in the neighborhood.

  • Everybody Hates Math
    With Chris' entire class counting on him to master algebra in time for a math competition, Rochelle takes it upon herself to tutor Chris. Unfortunately, Rochelle's teaching style doesn't do the trick, so Chris is forced to secretly meet with Rochelle's mother, Maxine, a former algebra teacher. Meanwhile, when Drew accidentally breaks Julius' favorite chair, Tonya takes the fall for him, but it turns out the good deed comes with a hefty price tag attached.

  • Everybody Hates The Last Day
    With the end of the school year fast approaching, Chris decides to exact revenge on Caruso to pay him back for making Chris' life miserable for the past two years. Julius insists on fixing Mr. Omar's clogged sink himself rather than calling an expensive plumber, but he only ends up making the situation worse and is reported to the housing authority as a result. Drew can't resist wearing his cap and gown around the house and out to play, despite Rochelle's strict orders not to wear it before graduation.
