Holmes Inspection EpisodesSeason 1

Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Holmes Inspection Page

  • Full Of Surprises
Mike and Tricia's home inspector told them the house they wanted to buy was worth an eight out of ten. Young and enthusiastic, they bought the house. When the pipes in their main floor laundry room froze and the drain backed up they called Mike Holmes. Mike's Holmes Inspection brought them a few more unpleasant surprises.

  • Abated Breath
When David and San Yee bought their house the home inspector declared it was above average. It was San Yee who found something that could put the health of their small family at risk. Mike does a Holmes Inspection and he and his crew do whatever it takes to make it right.

  • Frigid Floor
When Neil and Michelle went looking for their first house together, they fell for one with a big kitchen addition. The home inspector found no major issues and, reassured, Niel and Michelle bought the house. That first winter they suffered through cold feet, a terrible smell and plenty of overloaded electrical circuits. It's time for Mike to give them a Holmes Inspection, so that he and the crew can get to the bottom of this kitchen addition.

  • New Beginnings
Kathie is a police woman on disability who, needing to downsize, was thrilled to find a townhouse she could afford for herself and her daughter. The problems that the home inspector missed, however, are causing more anxiety and work than Kathie can handle. It's time for Mike to step in and do a Holmes Inspection and make it right.

  • Acres Of Pain
Jason and Kim were thrilled to be able to buy their dream house, an unusual design built on two acres, which they have admired for ages. Once they moved in, they began to realize they had much more serious safety issues than were clear in their home inspection report. Mike will use all his skills and experience to do a Holmes Inspection, and Damon and the crew will help to turn this house back into this family's dream.

  • A Century Ago
Jennifer and Paul wanted an older home with character and curb appeal. When the home inspection report came back with only minor repairs, Paul tackled them with enthusiasm. It was not long before they began to suspect that the home inspector had missed some much bigger problems, and called in Mike Holmes for a second opinion. Mike and the crew investigate and make it right.

  • Plumb Unlucky
Virginia needed a small home that would be a safe haven for her and her son, Luca. When she saw the beautiful trim, the updated kitchen and the big backyard in this cute one-and-a-half storey home, she decided it was nice enough to buy without a home inspection. Now she has toilets that do not flush, a shower that takes days to drain, some odd wiring, and no heat in the so-called updated kitchen. Mike Homes steps in to do a proper Holmes Inspection, and his crew helps make this house the home Virginia and Luca were counting on.

  • Heads Up Heating
Shayne and Lorelee thought they had found a trouble free family home and fell in love with its four bedrooms, big backyard, cozy family room and even a spare bedroom in the basement. Their home inspection found only minor concerns so they went ahead and used their savings on a new kitchen. Now they have cold feet, literally, as their family room and two of their bedrooms are freezing. To make matters worse, their kitchen contractor pointed out the windows were leaking so much water, the drywall beneath was crumbling in his hands. Mike does a proper Holmes Inspection to help them fall in love with their house again.

  • Headroom Headache
Scott and Erin wanted to minimize their commute and maximize the backyard they would have for their lively dog, Uma. The home inspector pointed out a few things that needed doing, but downplayed their concerns. Once they moved in and had to live with his mistakes firsthand, they started to worry about all the things he did not think were important. They now need Mike to give them a real Holmes Inspection.

  • Sump-thing New
Steven and Jennifer had been burned by a bad home inspection before, and decided to upgrade to a new house, confident that it would have fewer problems. Once again, the home inspection report made note of only minor issues, nothing that would scare them away. Unfortunately they now need Mike to step in and do a proper Holmes Inspection, in order to bring the rest of their problems to light.

  • Back To The Drawing Board
Clay and Clayton were thrilled to negotiate a lower price for their house based on the issues raised in their home inspection report. The trouble is, now that they have put thousands of dollars and hours into repairs, they are discovering things the home inspector missed. Mike and his crew are called in to do a Holmes Inspection and make it right.

  • A Load Of Trouble, Part 1
Josette and Jeff moved from a downtown loft to a big open concept house. Their home inspector said the sloped floors and sticking doors on the second floor were typical for a home of this age, but Mike thinks a Holmes Inspection will prove him very wrong. Damon and the crew are on hand to prop up the pieces, and make it right.

  • A Load Of Trouble, Part 2
Josette and Jeff are keen to get back into their renovated open concept home. Mike's Holmes Inspection discovered issues that were far more serious than the ones their home inspector reported. Damon and the crew, along with all the pros you can possibly imagine, work around the clock to make the house as safe and as sound as it is beautiful.
