  • Pilot
Ted meets Robin in a neighborhood bar, immediately becomes smitten and even scores a first date. But, when Robin must leave in the middle of the date, Ted can hardly wait to see her again, and his eagerness threatens to scare her away. Ted realizes Robin may not be as easy to catch as he had hoped, and it becomes apparent that he may have to meet a few more women before he finds his true love.

  • Purple Giraffe
After his disastrous first date with Robin, Ted tries to show her how casual he can be by throwing a party. However, when Robin doesn't show, Ted extends the party over three consecutive nights, giving Robin a chance to attend. Meanwhile, Lily can't get enough of her new fiance, Marshall.

  • Sweet Taste Of Liberty
In an effort to put some sizzle in Ted's love life, Barney brings him on an unpredictable adventure, but his tactics become suspect when Ted learns his first pick-up stop in their search for ladies is the airport baggage carousel. Ted hesitantly goes along for the ride and soon finds himself flying to Philadelphia, encountering the law and visiting the liberty bell, making the experience one helluva adventure, and an even better war story.

  • Return Of The Shirt
As Ted re-connects to an old shirt that he once had no interest in, he sees a striking parallel to his love life. The shirt gets him thinking that maybe one of the girls from his past, who he thought was wrong for him at the time, is actually the perfect fit now, and he sets off to rekindle an old flame. Meanwhile, Barney amuses himself by coercing Robin into sacrificing her career by saying completely outlandish things on the air for a cash reward.

  • Okay Awesome
When Robin scores entry into one of the hottest clubs in town, she invites Ted and Barney to come along for some fun. Robin mentions bringing Lily and Marshall as well, but, due to their recent behavior, the boys put the kibosh on inviting them. While the three singles enjoy a fun night of partying, Marshall and Lily sip wine and snack on gourmet cheese with other couples in an attempt to act like the mature adults they think they are supposed to be. The only problem is that neither of them is ready to grow up and they soon find themselves trying to escape the dull party and the clutches of mature adulthood.

  • Slutty Pumpkin
For the fourth consecutive year, Ted heads back to the rooftop Halloween shindig as his quest to find the pumpkin girl continues. Dressed in the spirit of Halloween, Barney urges Ted to leave for a much bigger and better celebration, but Ted refuses in the hopes that the girl will finally appear just as the risque pumpkin did four Halloween's ago. Meanwhile, Robin is dumped after driving her new boyfriend away with her independent ways.

  • Matchmaker
When a matchmaker with a 100 percent success rate turns Ted away because he is not compatible with any of the available women in her database, he is still determined that he is going to find his match. After getting information from the matchmakers computer on the sly, Ted pays a visit to a very cute, but very taken, dermatologist in an effort to debunk the prediction that there are no women out there for him. Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily are obsessed with ridding their apartment of an unsightly critter.

  • The Duel
As Lily becomes more of a permanent fixture in the apartment, Ted feels like he is being edged out of the mix by his engaged roomies. Petrified of being left alone and homeless, Ted tells Marshall that when he and Lily are married, he wants the apartment. The problem is that Marshall wants to keep the place too, so they settle it like real "grown-ups" - launching into a sword fight that leaves one man down for the count.

  • Belly Full Of Turkey
When Ted and Robin decide to help feed the homeless on Thanksgiving Day, they are in a state of disbelief when they run into Barney and discover that he is a regular volunteer at the homeless shelter. Thanksgiving doesn't end there for the trio, for they end up somewhere that only the "real" Barney would bring anyone to for a holiday meal. Meanwhile, things do not go very smoothly when Marshall and Lily pay a holiday visit to Marshall's family in Minnesota.

  • The Pineapple Incident
With the encouragement of his friends, Ted decides to let his hair down for a change and ends up having a fun and adventure-filled evening. However, now the problem is that he can't quite recall everything that transpired over the course of the evening and now he must rely on his friends to fill him in on the night's misadventures.

  • The Limo
After spending New Year's Eve apart from his friends last year, Ted is dead-set on ringing in this new year with his best pals at his side and doing it in style. As Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin are chauffeured around town in a limo hired by Ted, the night takes some interesting twists and turns - and when the clock strikes twelve, Ted may end up getting that kiss he has been longing for or at least the promise of something good to come.

  • The Wedding
When Robin agrees to be Ted's date for his friend's wedding, he is elated, but soon realizes that he may have to take back his invitation when bridezilla tells him that he didn't respond "plus one" and must come alone. Ted begs and pleads, but somewhat due to his actions, the couple may call the whole thing off for good and the outcome may change Ted's life as he knows it.

  • Drumroll, Please
After a magical romantic night with an amazing woman, Ted let's her walk out the door. The next morning, he can't believe he didn't get her number and he sets out to find his new love interest, only known to him as "Victoria." While Ted is on top of the world about Victoria, Robin is surprisingly upset that Ted is interested in someone else. His feelings for Victoria trigger feelings in Robin that she was unaware she even had for Ted.

  • Zip, Zip, Zip
After agreeing to take things slowly and not have sex for a month, Ted and Victoria decide that they have waited long enough. With Marshall and Lily out of town, the timing seems perfect. However, when the two change their plans and decide to stay home, they end up hiding in the bathroom in an effort to avoid ruining the moment for Ted. Meanwhile, Robin replaces Ted as Barney's wingman for a boys night out.

  • Game Night
After Lily pops in the tape of Barney and his ex, the gang forces Barney to tell them the story of how Shannon stomped on his heart. But in order for Barney to share his full story, he asks his friends to share their most painful moments. While everyone shares their story to get Barney to spill the beans, Ted, perhaps, shares too much.

  • Cupcake
Just as things are going so well with Ted and Victoria's relationship, Victoria gets her dream offer and the couple is confronted with some hard decisions about their future. Meanwhile, when Lily ruins a very expensive wedding dress and Barney talks Marshall into buying a very pricey suit, Marshall is forced to interview at Barney's company and give up his dream of working for an environmental law firm in order to earn more money.

  • Life Among The Gorillas
After a rough start on the new job at Barney's company, Marshall conforms in order to be accepted by his crude and obnoxious "frat boy" co-workers. However, he soon realizes that staying true to himself and his relationship with Lily is what is truly important. Meanwhile, Ted is convinced that Victoria is going to dump him after receiving a "let's talk" e-mail, so when the phone rings and it is Robin inviting him over late night, Ted must decide between going to Robin's place or waiting for Victoria's call.

  • Nothing Good Happens After 2 A.M.
Convinced Victoria is about to dump him, Ted accepts a late night invite to Robin's place. When Robin inquires about his relationship with Victoria, Ted tells her that they broke up. As things start to get hot and heavy between them, Ted's lies are eventually exposed and his theory "nothing good happens after 2 AM" proves to be true. Meanwhile, Barney tries to convince Marshall and Lily that the best things actually do happen after 2 AM.

  • Mary The Paralegal
When the whole gang decides to attend the awards banquet and support Robin's local news nomination, Ted finds himself dateless. However, in an effort to end Ted's dry spell, Barney comes to the rescue and secures a "date" for Ted with a hot call girl. After seeing Robin with her date, Sandy, Ted decides to make Robin jealous by bringing his date back to a hotel room where he discovers that Mary isn't the sure thing Barney said she was.

  • Best Prom Ever
Lily and Marshall need the gang's help when their wedding is moved up and now only two months away. Duties are divided - Lily, Robin and Barney crash a high school prom to check out a potential band, while Ted and Marshall stuff wedding invitations on what was intended to be a boy's night out on the town. While at the prom, Lily remembers all of the things she wanted to do after graduation and how many plans were derailed due to her relationship with Marshall.

  • Milk
When Lily's car breaks down on the way to a secret appointment, Ted changes a very important date to come to Lily's rescue. However, Lily drives off after confidentially telling him that she is on her way to an interview for a summer arts program that would derail her wedding. Despite Ted's input, Lily decides that she must go through with the interview or she will always wonder what could have been.

  • Come On
In an attempt to capture Robin's heart, Ted declares his love to her. Once again, Robin resists and prepares for a weekend away with her co-anchor, Sandy. Ted makes one last romantic gesture which leaves their fate as a couple in Robin's hands. Meanwhile, when Marshall finds out about Lily interviewing for a summer program, a heated fight ensues.
