 |  MacGyver Episodes, Season 1Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's MacGyver Page Angus "Mac" MacGyver and Jack Dalton, special agents for the Department of External Services (DXS), join forces to recover a missing bioweapon that has the ability to destroy hundreds of thousands of people with one single drop. MacGyver and the team attempt to rescue Sarah, Jack's former CIA partner/ex-girlfriend who went missing in Venezuela after she obtained evidence to take down an international arms dealer. The team head to Malaysia in search of a man funding a terrorist group, but their plan changes into keeping him alive after he is shot. The guys try to shut down a warhead in Moscow and need help from a Russian bomb programmer and his estranged handler, but a problem arises when the computer needed to disable the warhead malfunctions. MacGyver has to fix a sabotaged train to protect a whistleblower who can prove her boss is selling weapons to enemies of the United States. MacGyver tries to diffuse a bomb set near the United Nations by an old nemesis who was responsible for the death of MacGyver's mentor. MacGyver goes undercover as a prison inmate in a maximum security prison to help a notorious drug kingpin escape so he can track him to his cartel's secret location. An international assassin surfaces and is hired to kill MacGyver, who has to defend himself and Bozer using only a corkscrew and paper towel rolls. Also: Bozer learns of Mac's true identity. MacGyver faces extremists at a U.S. embassy in Latvia and has to use a chisel and matchbook to fend them off. Also: Bozer faces a big decision now that he knows Mac's identity. A prodigy is kidnapped in Mac and Bozer's hometown and Mac tries to rescue him with only a set of pliers and a speaker wire. Riley mysteriously disappears and hacks into the NSA and MacGyver and Jack search for her using a microwave and a power strip. Also: Bozer goes on his first official mission and Jack reveals his history with Riley's mother. A mole leaks secret intel about The Phoenix Foundation and MacGyver goes on the hunt with a screwdriver and bug spray. Also: Sarah returns and Nikki resurfaces, but Mac doesn't know if she's there to help. Mac is in a helicopter crash with Jack in a remote area of Kazakhstan and needs to use a large blade and a water bottle to save their pilot and prevent an escaped war criminal from taking them as prisoners. An FBI agents goes rogue and frames a man for murder. Also: the team get performance reviews from their new boss. Matty's family is targeted as his goddaughter and her boyfriend are murdered and the team begin think the infamous 1970s Zodiac Killer has returned. Bounty hunters kidnap a fugitive that Mac and Jack are trying to track down, forcing them to extract their mark using a hook and a car cable. Elsewhere: Bozer and Riley try to hack into Jack's CIA file to learn his history with Matty. The team are disavowed following a terrorist attack on Bozer's first overseas mission, forcing the team to avoid authorities using a ruler and coconut oil. The team head to Hawaii to aid earthquake relief efforts and partner the Five-0 task force to rescue a group of scientists trapped in a building, but group attempting to steal top-secret weaponry puts everyone in danger. Mac and Jack help Mac's close friend from M.I.T. after she fakes her own death to prevent someone from killing her in order to suppress her scientific research. When the team intercepts a terror group's message meant for Murdoc, Mac poses as a terrorist to save the intended target and find out why they want Murdoc to assassinate him. Murdoc plans revenge against MacGyver and releases a former cellmate to infiltrate the Phoenix Complex and kill all agents inside.
