  • Cheating Extinction
Lone is the project pioneer and founder of Nyaru Menteng Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Borneo, which is home to nearly 700 orphaned orangutans and is the largest primate rescue project in the world. As the classmates of Forest School 103, Cha Cha, Chen Chen, Saturnus and the others continue to thrive on Orangutan Island, and the heroic rescues of other orphaned orangutans continue around the clock. We will follow Lone as she and her team fight to bring these orphans back to the center to rehabilitate them and teach them survival skills, with the hope that one day they too can return to their natural habitat. In this special, viewers also will learn about the other island sanctuaries that Lone has created, meet some older orangutans that are rehabilitated and ready to be reintroduced to the wild and find out how the orangutans on Orangutan Island have been doing including Donald and Bonita, since we last saw them.

  • An Animal In Paradise
It's been 18 months since Forest School class 103 arrived on the island, and 32 of the original 35 orangutans remain, life on the island is still unpredictable. In this episode, two travelers must put their lives at risk to help the orangs, revealing the greatest surprise yet on Orangutan Island.

  • No Borders
There are new arrivals on the island - mother Kiki and her nine-month-old son, Hardi, who came from bordering Palas Island. Although there is an electric fence dividing the two islands, Project Manager Lone Droscher-Nielson quickly realizes that it doesn't work when Kiki and her son arrive unscathed. Facing a tough decision about border control, Lone decides to open the borders and allow free access between the islands. She hopes that the youngsters on Orangutan Island will learn from the elders on Palas Island - but there is always the threat of aggression from the elders. Will the new arrivals contribute to the orphans evolving society or sabotage their future?

  • Sink Or Swim
The bold open border experiment continues, but will the weakest of the orphans end up paying too heavy a price? A wily Palas Island adventurer is already looking to settle an old score. Meanwhile, Hamlet takes drastic action when a flash flood prevents him from reaching his feeding platform. Will his groundbreaking behavior cost him his life?

  • Fight Club
Anarchy rules as a vicious battle erupts to fill the power vacuum left by Hamlet. The stakes are high as tenacious contender Reno vies for dominance, but now he must compete with the older, menacing Palas Island males. The social structure of Orangutan Island is beginning to unravel and instability is setting-in. Just in time, Hamlet returns to the island to reclaim his place of power.

  • Kindred Spirits
There's calm since Hamlet's return, but it is mostly an uneasy peace between the Orangutan and Palas Island orangutans. Stirring up trouble, delicate outsider Mangis zeros in on an unsuspecting Jordan for his food sack, but Jordan isn't afraid to defend what is rightfully his. Conflict between the two communities transforms into a perilous contest in which Jordan could lose his life.

  • We Are Family
Exhausted from her motherly duties with baby Hardi, Kiki will never get a break unless she decides to let the other females do the unthinkable - babysit! Meanwhile, vulnerable Mangis is put to the test.

  • Where There's Smoke...

  • Teen Angst
Lone wrestles with how to ensure Bonita's health without devastating the emotional health of her two-year-old foster daughter, Randang. Meanwhile, hormone-fueled Palas Island males go on a rampage, targeting mom Kiki. Is baby Hardi next?

  • Chain Reaction
After an accident while play-fighting, Jordan faces amputation if an x-ray machine doesn't arrive in time. Later, Jupiter's attempt to become the feminine counterpart to Chen Chen's "demolition man" sets off a chain reaction with Bonita-the unintended and unsuspecting victim.

  • A Walk On The Wild Side
Hamlet learns that the vulnerable Bonita has left the island sanctuary after her run-in. It is a race against time to find Bonita before it is too late. The youngster is not mature enough to live in the wild alone and poachers are a constant threat. Will she be found in time?

  • Moving On
Lone raises funds to procure a new and larger island for the orangutans. Now she must move the Palas Island and Forest School 103 crew to make room for the new graduates on Orangutan Island.
