  • Guatemala Gulfstream
Jerry's efforts to defend a murder suspect are thwarted when a key eyewitness is stuck in Guatemala - and possibly holed up there by crooked inside forces. Meanwhile, Michelle takes part in her first murder trial; and Richard works on a racially explosive assault case.

  • I Will, I'm Will
Jerry defends a mentally ill client, and tensions heighten when Judge Kessler pushes him to find an in-patient program. Elsewhere, there's full-court pressure when Richard works for a woman involved in a dustup over a welfare check.

  • Richie Richer
Roz is offered employment at a high-ranked firm headed by Richard's overly moneyed father. Meanwhile, Jerry works for a penniless mother; Richard and Bobbi join forces on a murder case; and Judge Kessler continues to have political aspirations.

  • Bagels And Locks
Jerry embarks upon a heart-rending case involving the molestation and murder of a young boy. As the case begins grabbing headlines, Balco decides to assume control as the head prosecutor. Elsewhere, Bobbi works for a family man on a drug-possession case that seemingly lacks evidence. And Jerry meets Bobbi's husband.

  • Hang Time
Jerry handles an intricate case involving a hit-and-run accident and a robbery. In other events, a domestic-violence case turns personal for Bobbi.

  • A Leg to Stand On
Jerry navigates through thorny judicial politics to defend a client he maintains is innocent. Elsewhere, Bobbi advocates for an Iraq veteran taking heroin as medicine for his war wounds; and Richard is given a new client - a law student-dancer who showers him with a bit too much attention.

  • Out On The Roof
One of Charlie's friends is arrested and Charlie arranges to have Jerry handle the case, but then is put in front of Charlie's boss, Judge Kessler. Michelle calls Jerry in to intercede on one of Bobbi's cases.

  • Roman Holiday
Jerry defends an HIV-positive man charged with attempted murder due to the fact that he spit in a police officer's face. Jerry must go up against Mitch Baker, an arrogant assistant DA. Bobbi and Richard defend a 14-year-old who was possibly involved in a murder. Judge Kessler plans a trip to Italy and invites Charlie along.

  • Shop Till You Drop
The appeals court overturns the conviction of a black firefighter accused of stealing property from a body found during a fire. The court finds that Judge Kessler was wrong to disallow testimony. Roz and Balco have to go and retry the case and they find racism to play a major part. Jerry finds some information out about Bobbi's husband but doesn't know if he should share it. Charlie deals with conflict between him and Judge Kessler.
