Meanwhile, David and Amy try living together but are surprised by their similarities to their parents. Poker Face Alan's weekly poker night has an unexpected attendant???Elaine???when they try to figure out how much time they're supposed to spend together. Meanwhile, David's bluffing about a job requires help from Brandon. The Grifters Elaine and Alan are suspicious of David's new love interest until the woman reveals that she's a single mom. Meanwhile, Jared fears making a commitment to Amy. My Dinner With Alan Amy gets more than she bargained for when she wishes her father and Jared were friends, and David isn't exactly thrilled after Alan treats Jared like a son. The Apartment After becoming suspicious of Elaine's behavior, David learns that she hasn't let go of her old apartment, and he ropes Amy into uncovering any other secrets their mother might be hiding. The Break-Up Brandon's kiss surprises Amy, who rethinks her romance with Jared, a reconsideration that, unfortunately, gets her whole family involved. The Proposal Brandon is crushed when Jared proposes to Amy, but also he's also suspicious of the groom-to-be's intentions to get married in two weeks, a hunch that David finds to be correct. My Best Friend's Wedding Amy faces a difficult choice after learning that Jared is only marrying her to get his green card, and then finding out how much she means to Brandon.
