Marc Paskin: Detroit, MI Real estate investor and multi-millionaire Marc Paskin spends a week living in a typical, run down, one-bedroom house on the east side of Detroit, an area with a reputation for crime, drugs and gangs. Paskin will have to survive on $50.00, the equivalent of one week of Detroit's welfare assistance for a single man over 55. James Malinchak: Gary, IN Motivational speaking mogul and author James Malinchak leaves his jet-setting life behind to live in Gary, Indiana, a city hit hard by the economic downturn. He will spend a week living on welfare level wages in a rundown neighborhood. While there, he will spend time volunteering where his help is needed most, searching for deserving people and organizations that are making a real difference, and will surprise these heroes with donations of thousands of dollars from his own fortune. John Ferber: Skid Row, Los Angeles, CA Following the deaths of two close friends, millionaire Internet entrepreneur John Ferber came to the realization that there was more to life than work. He took the loss of his friends as a wake-up call to live life fully and be more hands-on with helping others, eventually starting his online charitable website, Microgiving.com. For six days, Ferber will leave his luxurious Florida home and live on welfare level wages for a week among the 15,000 nightly homeless inhabitants of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, California. Gary & Diane will stay in a rundown one-bedroom home in a neighborhood not far from where Gary was born, home to one of the highest crime rates in the nation. They will have to survive on $6.50 per day, the equivalent of food stamps for a two-person household in Texas.
