Japanese Game Show EpisodesSeason 1

Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's I Survived A Japanese Game Show Page

  • Episode 101
Contestants must eat food from a plate perched on the head of a teammate running in place on a treadmill, and "launch" themselves into a giant replica of an auto windshield while dressed in bug costumes.

  • Episode 102
Three teammates control the movements of a fourth ("the human claw") in efforts to place stuffed animals in a chute; contestants must place packages in mail chutes while being buffeted by wind from a powerful fan and objects thrown at them by opponents.

  • Episode 103
Contestants ride tricycles on a conveyor belt above a pool filled with icy water, with the belt's speed being controlled by their stationary-bike-riding teammates (the faster they peddle, the slower the conveyor belt goes); Velcro-clad contestants on a trampoline throw themselves at body-pattern outlines in an effort to match their body parts to the outlines.

  • Episode 104
Contestants dressed as babies are spun around to make them dizzy, then must pour milk into a giant baby bottle after maneuvering through an obstacle course while carrying the milk. They're also oiled and covered with feathers and must pop huge balloon "eggs" filled with a yolklike substance using only their hindquarters.

  • Episode 105
Contestants toss projectiles at a Velcro-clad teammate suspended by a wire while opponents pull the Velcro warrior from side to side, trying to keep the objects from sticking; contestants swing on ropes from a platform into a line of seven doors one at a time, trying to find the three solid doors in the fastest time.

  • Episode 106
Two teammates spin in chairs at opposite ends of the playing field, then must cross one another to collect either a lock or ring with three keys. Then they meet back in the middle on two smaller spinning disks to unlock the lock. In the other game, the contestants change three times into a unique Japanese costume. The contestant with the fastest cumulative time wins.

  • Episode 107/108
The winner emerges from three contests. In one, contestants hit the streets of Tokyo and must persuade strangers to do such things as draw mustaches on their faces. The survivors must then jump into a giant water-filled bowl dressed in sponge suits and retain as much water as possible while negotiating an obstacle course. And for the finalists: yet another obstacle course, this one combining challenges from previous contests on the series.
