    Ali reaches out to Leslie for advice, but inches a little too close. Meanwhile, Josh confronts Shelly about the past; Sarah explores her carnal fantasies; and Maura helps prepare Davina for Sal's return from prison, but a harsh reality comes to the fore.

    Atonement is the theme when Yom Kippur is celebrated. Here, Sarah tries to make amends with Tammy; Maura attempts to communicate with Davina; and Josh sets out to make peace with Raquel. It all leads to a party hosted by Ali and Syd.

    Rose and Gittel face an ultimatum. In other developments, Sarah volunteers for a suicide hotline, inching closer to Shea in the process; Josh veers on a reckless path; Ali and Sarah hit the road toward a music festival, with Maura in tow.

    Sisterhood abounds at the Idylwild Wimmin's Music Festival. Here, Maura strikes up a new friendship, yet has a rude awakening, and Sarah experiences liberation from an unlikely source. Elsewhere, Ali takes an unexpected journey into the past.

    Maura has an unexpected love connection and reconciles with her lineage. Meanwhile, Ali addresses her academic future; Josh seeks fatherly love in Buzz; and Sarah attempts to tie up loose ends.
