  • Tigerhounds
When tigers in Bangladesh begin terrorizing villages, scientists fear the demise of a species already on the brink of extinction. The tigers of the Sundarbans Forest have developed a taste for humans, and villagers are fighting back. In a last-ditch effort to drive the rogue tigers back into the wild, scientists have assembled some unlikely candidates: street dogs. With the help of an expert dog trainer, scientists hope to transform these lowly mutts into local heroes. Will the tigerhounds save the lives of both humans and tigers, or will this unconventional approach prove you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

  • Crocodile Blues
A mystery is unfolding on India's Chambal River. An epidemic has struck the world's oldest crocodilian - the gharial - with devastating consequences. Thirty years after bringing this ancient species back from the brink, Herpetologist Romulus Whitaker is called upon once again to save them. With the death toll rising, time is running out. While Rom struggles to identify the crocodile killer, a second threat has emerged. Severe monsoons threaten to wipe out this year's hatchlings, jeopardizing the next generation of gharials. With catastrophe closing in, will Rom be able to solve the mystery before it decimates this endangered species?

  • Red-Faced Uakari Monkey
Deep within the Peruvian amazon resides a peculiar primate. With muscular faces and long orange fur, the red uakari monkey's shocking appearance makes them unique to any other in South America. These small acrobats command the tree canopy in search of their favorite fruits, but their nomadic behavior and treacherous terrain make them nearly impossible to study. Due to these challenges, little was known about this threatened species... until now. Biologist, Mark Bowler takes us inside the world of the red uakari monkey. His exploration reveals groundbreaking information on the species and the key to their survival in the wild.

  • Cheetahs: Against All Odds
Raising cheetah cubs to maturity in Tanzania's Serengeti is not for the fainthearted. Nine out ten cubs never make it to adulthood. Two cheetah mothers are up to the task, but with the odds stacked against them, they will have to rely on both skill and luck to keep their families intact. We follow the two mothers as they face the fiercest predators, hunt prey twice their size, and fend off vicious scavengers... all in the name of their cubs' survival. Will their courage and tenacity pay off? Or will they lose their cubs to the perils of the Serengeti?

  • Elephants: Breaking Boundaries
In Botswana, elephant numbers are on rise. Though threatened elsewhere, these elephants may soon become victims of their own success. With food, water and space diminishing at a rapid pace, fears that a mass killing will be ordered to stifle the population are mounting. Ancient elephant migration paths break across the borders into surrounding nations, but impenetrable fencing and civil conflicts have trapped these gentle giants in northern Botswana. Ecologist Dr. Mike Chase seeks to unlock the secrets of these mysterious migration paths. Will his findings reveal information that might ultimately save the lives of thousands of African elephants?

  • Wild Dog Island
In Zimbabwe, one of the world's most endangered carnivores is getting a second chance. Six orphaned African Wild Dogs - also called Painted Dogs - will take part in a unique experiment. After spending the majority of their lives in captivity, they will be released onto an island in an effort to foster their natural instincts. The Painted Dog Conservation will prepare them for their new life, but ultimately this pack must learn to survive on its own. In a land governed by survival of the fittest, will they have what it takes to become masters of Wild Dog Island?
