Jack Bauer is working at a school in Africa where he is called upon to stop a ruthless warlord from drafting innocent children into his murderous militia. At home, it's inauguration day for President-elect Allison Taylor while malevolent mastermind Jonas Hodges fans the flames of the international crisis. Setting the stage and raising the stakes for the upcoming season, Bauer faces decisions and sacrifices that will change his life forever.

Day 7: 8:00 A.M. To 9:00 A.M./9:00 A.M. To 10:00 A.M.
As the ongoing international crisis intensifies, the new day is set in Washington, D.C., where Bauer is on trial, CTU is disbanded and new president Allison Taylor leads the country through a day of unthinkable circumstances. Jack's morning takes a shocking a turn when the nation's security is breached and it's discovered that former colleague Tony Almeida has been resurrected and is responsible for the terrifying threat. Although CTU is no longer, computer whiz Chloe O'Brian and former CTU chief Bill Buchanan return this season along with FBI Agents Renee Walker, Larry Moss, Janis Gold and Sean Hillinger to begin an astonishing, nail-biting day.

Since Jack Bauer has been pulled from his senate sub-committee hearing to assist with the deadly domestic threat and the investigation of former colleague Tony Almeida, his new undefined role is to help secure the nation. Meanwhile, President Allison Taylor presides over the escalating time-sensitive dilemmas linked to the unrest in Sangala. When Dubaku's evil plan escalates to his boss, General Juma, the stakes are raised and steadfast President Taylor faces a deepening foreign policy dilemma. Meanwhile, Jack Bauer's staunch defiance to uncover conspirators inside the government has critical consequences.

Day 7: 7:00 P.M. To 8:00 P.M.
As Bauer's by-the-book government adversary Senator Mayer heads to the White House for a meeting, another high-impact terror threat develops stateside. Malevolent mastermind and Starkwood honcho Jonas Hodges provokes the situation while Agent Walker leads the grueling investigation in the field... and in the water.
