Another Black Monday
Deputy Miley and the other drill instructors from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department meet the 115 recruits of Class 368 on "Black Monday," the first day of their 18-week training course. Recruits range in age from 21 to 49, and two are dropouts from Class 355, from Season 1, who have returned with renewed purpose. But that doesn't give them a free pass. Nothing does, as even the 49-year-old who was chosen class sergeant soon finds out.
The Ultimatum
Recruit Paez struggles as first-class sergeant, and Deputy Miley gives her an ultimatum; Recruit Villareal gets in trouble when the drill instructors learn that he went clubbing instead of studying.
Soup Sandwich
Recruit Villareal is on the hot seat as the new class sergeant. Then he leaves his locker unlocked with his newly issued gun in it.
Trigger Happy
At the shooting range, Recruit Valladores can't figure out how to shoot his weapon. Meanwhile, Recruit Marquez, a cancer survivor, becomes violently ill and is taken to the hospital.
On The Line
Recruit Marquez worries that her cancer has returned. Meanwhile, the staff confidently appoints Recruit Leos to the role of class sergeant, but the class doesn't follow her lead.
Command Presence
Recruit Santos is in a bind when she can't lead the group. Meanwhile, the recruits get into an argument and the drill instructors must figure out how to get them to work better as a team.
A Fatal Mistake
A few careless recruits get into trouble when their weapons are stolen from their vehicle; Santos fights for her job as she struggles with all aspects of the training.
When The Smoke Clears
The recruits take their final shooting test and endure a house filled with tear gas. And emotions run high at the Colors Run ceremony, which is dedicated to the family of a fallen officer.
The Uniform
Recruit Villareal continues to disappoint both the drill instructors and other members of Class 368. Meanwhile, Recruit Turner and others face separation as they retake the final test, just days before graduation.
Pomp And Circumstance
A top staff member leaves the Academy as Class 368 graduates. Then, for the first time, the new deputies take to the streets the next day for ride alongs - and a shooting gives Deputy Underwood an intense introduction to the job.
