Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's The Academy Page It Starts Today Orange County Fire Authority's Recruit Class 36 is introduced to an elite team of instructors known as the Cadre who will be transforming them into the toughest firefighters over a challenging 18-week training process. Ears Back, Hair On Fire Some of the recruits of Class 36 struggle as they try and master some of the most basic fire skills. After being out for three weeks with injury, recruits Lefebvre and Bennett struggle to catch up to the rest of the class. Attention To Detail Class 36 enters their first live burn where temperatures reach up to one thousand degrees. Captain Contreras schools the recruits about having "an attention to detail", but after their lack of focus, he turns up the heat. The Mid-Term Recruit Gonzalez is caught cheating off Recruit Adelman's quiz, putting both men in jeopardy of being terminated. Class 36 approaches the half way mark of the academy, and are faced with a difficult mid-term exam, resulting in the release of a class member. The Heat Turns Up Class 36 is put through an intense wildland training program working with bulldozers, massive waterlines, and helicopters. Fire Ground Pace Class 36 is exposed to their most difficult challenge yet as they must utilize all of the skills they have learned to work on live fire enguled inside a tower. Day In The Life The recruits of Class 36 experience a day in the life of a firefighter. These simulations bring unpredictable conditions and obstacles of what they will encounter in the field. Mission: De-Con The Cadre are forced to shut down the drills grounds and decontaminate the entire academy. It's Do Or Die It's the final exam and the moment of truth for Class 36. Graduation Day After 18 weeks of intense training, Class 36 has come to the moment they have been waiting for - graduation day.
