Episode 1
The cast arrive one by one to their own private Paradise in the gorgeous town of Sayulita, located in Vallarta-Nayarit, Mexico. Welcomed by Chris Harrison, the cast quickly gets acquainted at a Bachelor-style cocktail party on the shores of Playa Escondida. The mood changes quickly when the Mystery Woman enters Paradise, and the cast is shocked to learn who she is. Breaking the tension, Chris Harrison interrupts to explain the rules of Paradise and one shocking twist. This week, the men will hand out a rose to someone they'd like to spend more time getting to know and the women who do not receive roses will have to leave Paradise forever. Then, he informs the group he has one more surprise in store.

Episode 2
Clare returns with a date card in hand and a mission to find herself a man. To her disappointment, all of the guys that she's into seem to be taken. Mikey T. seizes the opportunity by inviting himself on the date and without any other options, Clare accepts. The pair head off to an uncomfortably intimate session of tantric yoga followed by a swim under a waterfall. They soon discover their feelings are not mutual.

Episode 3
As the week begins, the unhappy Bachelorette reveals that she has a boyfriend back home and the cast questions her purpose in Paradise. Josh, the hunky bachelor that Lauren was waiting for, arrives with a date card in hand but asks Tenley out instead. The two have a romantic time in the charming beach town of Sayulita, but upon their return back to the house, a jealous JJ isn't thrilled to see the chemistry forming between them. Meanwhile, the cast is shocked when new bachelor Joe arrives and displays abrasive behavior that is off-putting to everyone. He takes Juelia on a date where they ride horses to Quimixto Waterfalls and get to know each other over a picnic, but the budding relationship is short-lived as he later reveals his true intentions behind coming to Paradise.

Episode 4
The morning after a dramatic night in Paradise, the cast is still reeling from Jared's controversial decision to ask Clare to be his date. Mikey and Ashley I. are left feeling deserted and heartbroken by the decision. Despite the drama, Jared and Clare head out on one of the most adventurous dates of the season, taking a sailboat to a small island where they go bungee jumping. Meanwhile at the house, Ashley I. is distraught that her love interest is out on the date, possibly falling in love with another woman. When the happy couple returns, Ashley I.'s fears are confirmed, leaving both ladies vying for the bachelor's heart.

Episode 5
As the week begins, a beautiful new Bachelorette, Samantha, arrives to Paradise with a date card and invites Joe. As the two embark on their date, they leave Playa Escondida holding hands, leaving Juelia extremely disheartened. Joe and Samantha head to a gorgeous rooftop pool at the exquisite Vidanta Resort, where they learn they will be doing a sexy photo shoot for PEOPLE. While things get hot and heavy between the blossoming couple, back at the house the cast is convinced Joe manipulated Juelia to give him her rose. When they return, his friends pressure him to smooth things out with Juelia, but Joe is anything but apologetic, and things get especially awkward when Samantha walks into the middle of it.

Episode 6
Rumors about this new couple begin to swirl amongst the group when Tanner reveals to his buddy Jared that the villainous Joe and Samantha have more of a history than they're admitting. When the guys confront them, they're met with resistance and more lies, spurring the partners in crime to hatch a new plan to keep their stories straight. Later, newly single Ashley S., hopeful for reconciliation with Dan, has a moment of happiness when her best friend Amber arrives to Paradise... up until Amber asks Dan out on a date. When they head off on their date, the distressed Ashley S. breaks down in the arms of Juelia but later finds more comfort from her feathered "friends."

Episode 7
At the cocktail party, Joe and Samantha take the opportunity to address the controversy surrounding their relationship. Wanting a fair chance at love, Juelia takes matters into her own hands by asking Chris Harrison for an unprecedented favor before the rose ceremony. As the rose ceremony commences, uncoupled Bachelorettes find themselves in peril as their only hopes of staying in Paradise lie in the hands of two undecided Bachelors, JJ and Dan. With all that she's been through, everyone hopes that Juelia will be saved. In what becomes Paradise's most dramatic rose ceremony to date, shocking decisions are made, resulting in surprise departures and even more astonishing returns.

Episode 8
After a night of dramatic break ups, the "Bachelor in Paradise" cast is still trying to make sense of it all. While things are looking sunny for most couples, a cloud looms over the brokenhearted Joe, Ashley I. and Jared. To make matters worse for Joe, the couple he wronged, Mikey and Juelia, is given an overnight date and everyone couldn't be happier for their second chance at love. Mikey whisks his lovely date away on a private jet to Guadalajara, where they are treated to an exhilarating Lucha Libre wrestling match and discuss their future as a couple. After proving to be the man she has been looking for, Juelia grants her date permission to stay the night with her in the fantasy suite.

Episode 9
A new but seasoned Bachelor, Chris Bukowski, arrives in Paradise with a date card but struggles to make the right impression. Things are worsened by a day full of drinking and when he's rejected by his date choice, Tenley, he's left humiliated and sad. Adding insult to injury, Joshua boldly takes the opportunity to ask Chris for his unused date card to take Tenley, the very same woman who rejected Chris! The two make use of a relinquished date card and head to Guadalajara where they spend the day getting a taste for Mexican food and culture, and are treated to a private dinner prepared by renowned chef Francisco Ruano. Things get spicy and sweet for Joshua and Tenley.

Episode 10
It's the morning after and everyone is still reeling from last night's dramatic events. Chelsie, who arrived with a date card, decides to ask out Nick, who is instantly motivated to end his relationship with Ashley S. The new duo head off to enjoy an ocean cruise on a luxurious yacht and snorkel in the turquoise waters of Paradise. Despite the romantic setting, this handsome couple lacks chemistry, leaving Chelsie in the "friend zone."

Episode 11
New Bachelorette Jaclyn arrives and struggles to find a man for her date before Justin finally accepts. But to her surprise, Justin backs out of their plans when he's asked on a second date by the very last arrival in Paradise, Cassandra. The excited couple sets off to enjoy a romantic horseback ride along the beach, culminating with a hot make out session! Meanwhile, Jaclyn settles a long-standing score with Nick, an old foe from Bachelor Pad 3, making him humiliate himself before handing over her date card so he can finally take Samantha on a date.

Episode 12
The cast is reeling from a shocking break up that left everyone questioning the stability of their own relationships. Connections are put to the test as each couple hits the town for their final fantasy suite dates to help them determine whether or not their relationships can last outside of Paradise. While some couples enter their fantasy suite excited to move their relationship forward, others enter with reservations. While Tenley has doubts about a life with Joshua, Cassandra wonders if the fantasy suite might be too much too soon for her and Justin.
