A Taste Of The Good Life There's friendship, there's romance, and then there's Bromance. What is Bromance? In most cases, it's a bond between boys that is both manly and intimate. In this case, though, it's a chance to buddy up with a privileged heartthrob from The Hills, Brody Jenner. Nine lucky guys have been chosen from a pool of thousands of applicants from all across the United States who put their hat in the ring for the chance to meet Brody, become part of his entourage and, ultimately, score the keys to a posh penthouse in L.A. But this won't be an easy feat. Brody and his pals are going to put these guys through the ringer, picking them off one-by-one until the wingman with the best potential is discovered.
The Bro-Athalon The Bromance contestants get home from the first elimination, more determined than ever to step up their game. Brody calls Gary to tell him to bring the guys over for some crazy activities. When the guys arrive at the Bro-Athalon, they find Brody, Frankie and Sleazy T waiting for them outside, in a recliner. The first game, the Lazy Boy Slalom, requires each contestant to hop aboard a supped-up recliner and ride it down a hill as they collect various items. The contestants roll and flip their way to the finish line, and Luke comes out on top.
Who's Got Game? After a night of some bromantic activities, Chris P. didn't make the cut and was cast out to sea. With just six guys left, Brody is stepping up his game by bringing in a special lady to determine who is worthy of his Bromance. Brody invites the remaining guys over to his apartment to test them on their lady charm. Brody brings over one of his best friends, Lauren Conrad from The Hills to help judge the bros. The guys come up to the apartment but can't see the mystery woman on the other side of the screen. The boys will play a dating game and whoever wins will get to meet Lauren on the other side of the screen.
Bros In The Wild Brody causes a rift between himself, Frankie, and Sleazy T when he tells them he's going camping with the contestant bros, and Frankie and Sleazy T aren't invited. But, with only five guys left in the competition, Brody has to know who can rough it. Before the boys head into the woods, Brody brings them to a biker bar for a test of strength. He asks Mario, a Bad Ass Biker Dude to fight each bro in a wrestling ring. Whoever lasts the longest in the ring gets some special one-on-one time with Brody. Most of the contestants can only manage just over a minute in the ring with Mario. Luke is the only bro who manages to give Mario a run for his money, and wins the challenge.
Little Jeans, Big Hearts With just four guys left, the Bro's get a taste of Hollywood - Brody Jenner style. In a true test of their bonding thus far he commits the ultimate bro crime and deceives them. They think they are going to be helping him market his new jean company, Brody Jenner Jeans by strutting their stuff on the red carpet. Little do the guys know the entire red carpet gala and jean campaign is a fraud. Brody uses fake designers, make-up artists, paparazzi and even E reporter Ted Casablanca to make the fraud appear as real as their bro-bond. He wants to see how well the guys handle themselves in this glimpse of the life of the rich and famous.
Moment Of Truth Out of the nine guys that came together from all over the country looking for Bromance, only three guys are still in the game: Chris, aka 'Little Bug,' from Orlando; Femi; the tough 'tiger' from Jacksonville, Florida; and Luke, the jokester Boston dude. Not surprisingly, tension has crept its way into the Bro Mansion, resulting from the last elimination. Luke is still upset that Chris tried to call him out in front of Brody. When Luke confronts Chris about it, Chris refuses to see Luke's side. While the boys argue about what seems to be a lost cause, Brody calls and tells them he's bringing his mom to the house. He instructs the boys to have the house looking spotless, and to remove all evidence that would sway his mom's angelic vision of him, such as alcohol bottles and the underwear wall decorations.
