    Irish teacher Sharon picks up American Rob for a weekend tryst; and learns, after he's returned State-side, that she's pregnant. He returns to the U.K. upon learning the news; and they set out to turn their brief encounter into a serious commitment.

    Sharon and Rob move in together; and Rob meets Sharon's brother Fergal, who helps pick out the engagement ring.

  • Episode 3
    Sharon has dinner with an old flame; and Rob struggles to make money for his firm.

  • Episode 4
    Sharon's parents visit; and possible health complications for the baby put stress on Sharon and Rob's relationship.

  • Episode 5
    Rob loses his job; Sharon learns disturbing news about Rob's former girlfriend; and Rob plans a surprise birthday party for Sharon.

  • Episode 6
    Rob's best man and Sharon's maid of honor both prove to be problematic, but a heavily pregnant Sharon and Rob still manage to tie the knot.
