Episode 2 An Arctic blizzard and rotten luck force the roughnecks on two drilling rigs to make some tough choices. The pressure is on, since every delay costs the company a quarter of a million dollars a day. Episode 3 Treacherously thin ice roads and an ancient rock formation make life on the rigs a driller's nightmare. High up in the Northwest Territories, a freak heat wave right in the middle of the Arctic winter hits the MGM Camp, opening deadly cracks in the ice. Episode 4 A rig crew finds out if they hit the jackpot on their first well while another crew hustles to catch up. Episode 5 Spring thaw is fast approaching and the rig crews scramble to complete their wells before the roads become impassable. Episode 6 It's the last lap of the drilling season and the rigs and the men are on a mad dash to the finish line.
