Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Daddy's Girls Page Launch Special Vanessa and Angela Simmons preview their "Run's House" spin-off, which follows the sisters' lives in Los Angeles. New Beginnings Officially living in just Los Angeles now, Vanessa and Angela Simmons are ready to start their new lives on the West Coast. There's just one problem: Angela is still in a funk over her breakup with her boyfriend, TK. While sorting through boxes, the girls receive a package from back home with all their old yearbooks, photos, finger paintings and even their birth certificates. Feeling disowned, the girls call up Rev Run to learn that he's only trying to encourage their independence. Sherlock Homey While waiting for Angela and Vanessa to arrive for lunch, Alycia tells Jessica that her former fling "Skinny Jeans" has sucked her back in. The only problem? He's screwed her over in the past and Angela and Vanessa have a code against getting back together with guys you've cut off. Trying to be helpful, Jessica tells her cousins about the reappearance of "Skinny Jeans." Like Jessica, the Simmons girls are appalled that Alycia would even give this guy the time of day. Alycia swears that she can't help herself, but her friends are determined to keep her away from this player. Have Your Pastry And Eat It Too Pastry is officially ready to open the doors on its West Coast office - just as soon as Solomon and Rasheed sign off on the new office. Angela and Vanessa are nervous about the meeting, eager to show their partners they can handle the business on their own, but Jessica assures them there's nothing to worry about. Sure enough, Solomon and Rasheed approve of the offices but joke they may want to have desks of their own at the new location so they can keep an eye on the girls. Jessica argues that what they really need to talk about is getting her a company car so she no longer has to rely on her cousins and taxis to get around. Solomon doesn't seem to think it's a necessity though. Rev's Angels Angela takes Jessica along for some "market research"... aka, shoe shopping. She comes across a pair of giant motorcycle boots and instantly falls in love. Although they're not exactly Angela's style, she's willing to take on the biker look in order to accommodate the boots. Meanwhile, Vanessa has scored the lead in a new movie about speed dating. However, the producer and director want Vanessa to get "method" by going on a speed date herself. Vanessa is hesitant, but agrees to go on one condition: that she hands out the director's number instead of her own. Birthday Presence While out for coffee with Lynn and Jessica, Angela and Vanessa reveal their new marketing plan for Pasty: include a hang-tag on each set of sneakers and clothing that has a recipe for that kind of Pastry. They have five short days to perfect the recipes for a presentation to several buyers. Time to get to work! After a mix-up at the dog groomers, Jessica suggests that Angela and Vanessa start looking for a personal assistant to keep track of these things. They call up Rev for advice on how to find a good assistant and he reminds them that his birthday is coming up that Friday... aka, the same day as their meeting. Vanessa promises him they'll be there for the occasion but isn't sure how she and Angela will get everything done in time. Keepin' It Real Estate Angela and Vanessa muse over the mess of their living room, which also serves as Jessica's room. After discovering hair in their coffee table, they agree it might be time to get a bigger place. Meanwhile, Jessica tells Alycia over her goal to become more "rotund in the rump." At breakfast, the other girls marvel as she orders french toast, an omlette, sour cream and more to help grow this asset. Even though the other girls think she's crazy, Jessica is determined to become a "cutie with a bootie." When ask Rev about getting a new apartment, he suggests that if they're serious about staying in LA they should invest in a house. Angela is so jazzed about the idea that she makes Vanessa pull off the freeway so she can write down the number of a real estate agent advertised on a bench. Alycia tries to convince Jessica that her butt is fine as it is, but Jessica continues to snack on Funions. Determined to prove her point, Alycia asks the UPS man what he thinks of Jessica's butt.
