A Double Shot At Love Page
This Time, Let's Make It A Double
Identical twins Vikki and Rikki share more than just good looks and a love of modeling: they're also both bisexual and looking for love. Twelve lesbians and twelve straight guys will be arriving at the house, thinking they're competing for just Rikki's heart. Little do they know, throughout the evening Vikki and Rikki will be sporadically switching places so they each get a chance to know the would-be suitors! Instead of arriving by limo, the contestants arrive at the house by helicopter, trapped in "girls" and "boys" crates. After a rough landing, the girls begin a "let us out" chant that prompts the Ikki twins to agree on spending time with the girls first - after all, it's unfair to make a group of girls sit around in a fur-lined box for a couple hours! After Vikki runs up to the bedroom to watch everything unfold on camera, Rikki releases the girls, much to the boys' dismay.
Kiss And [Don't] Tell
Now that all the contestants know that there are two of them instead of one, Vikki and Rikki are free to get to know everyone without all the secrecy. While partying it up at the pool, the ladies prove that they're much better at distinguishing Rikki from Vikki than their male counterparts. The twins even try to test Trevor on which one of them he kissed the night before, but the surfer dude can't tell. To determine who will get some extra alone time with the twins, the guys and girls face off in their first battle of the sexes. Each team is given a twin bed on wheels that they must try to keep as clean as possible. The twist? They'll also be given paint-filled balloons to launch at the other side. While it's close for a while, rambunctious Scott ignores the rules and begins launching the boys' pillows and sheets over at the girls' side. Because of this violation, the girls win and get to spend some time in the hot tub with Vikki and Rikki. After coming up with the brilliant plan of popping the balloons before hurling them at the guys (therefore causing more paint to splatter), Rebekah is named the MVP and wins kisses from both of the twins.
Sticky And Sweet
The Ikki twins revealed their big secret to the contestants and now they can get to know the guys and girls of the Double Shot Of Love house. It's time for the third annual bi-athalon, where the boys are pitted against the girls to win a sexy poolside date. The contestants have to run into a cage, grab a key, and then unlock a treasure chest filled with blow-up dolls. The teams then have to take their dolls through the rest of the obstacle course and whoever finishes first wins a date with the twins. The ladies get a good lead over the guys when some of the boys get confused with how to open up the treasure chest. Kali helps to keep the lead over the boys while Matt struggles with the bungee cords. The ladies end up taking home the gold when they win yet another challenge over the guys. After an emotional night, the girls celebrate with the remaining contestants and toast to A Double Shot At Love.
Lickety Split
With another win for the ladies and a step closer to A Double Shot At Love, it's now every man for themselves. Rikki and Vikki are starting to make connections with different people and eliminations are only getting harder on A Double Shot At Love. After an emotional elimination, the contestants receive a message in the bottle from the twins telling them they'll have to walk on water. The guys and girls meet up with Rikki and Vikki and find out they have to walk across a pool of water without falling in. The twins decide that Rosemarie and Scott would make the best team captains and the contestants get started in taking on the challenge. The teams are mixed with guys and girls so the game is no longer a battle of the sexes.
The Truth Will Set You Free
The remaining contestants wake up to a nice little "family breakfast," complete with mimosas and bloody marys. They toast each other, as the elite few who still have a Double Shot At Love. Trevor, however, takes note of how affectionate Josh and Rosie are being and figures it's only a matter of time before the fact that they've hooked up comes out. The group then receives a note from the twins, informing the contestants that they've made a mess of the house and it's time to clean up their act. Scott, Josh and Rosemarie will clean the house, while Trevor, Xoe and Rebekah spiffy up the cabin for a future date. Rosemarie quickly gets frustrated by the fact that she and Josh continually have to tell Scott what to do. Meanwhile, Trevor, Xoe and Rebekah are stuck moving hay bales and even chasing out mice from the cabin.
Family Matters
With only four contestants left, it's time for the Ikki twins to meet the families! First, they head to Trevor's hometown of Narberth, Pennsylvania. A skater at heart, Trevor shows off some of his own moves before getting Rikki and Vikki geared up and on skateboards of their own. Noticing that Vikki seems more into the skating than into Trevor, Rikki pulls him aside for some one-on-one time. She confesses how hard it is to have such strong feelings for him and watch him falling for Vikki at the same time. But Trevor reassures her that he only wants to end up with one of them in the end and won't try to keep them both. Of more concern is the fact that he has to bring Rikki and Vikki home to meet his family. Besides being very conservative, Trevor's Quaker parents have no idea that he's bringing home two bisexual girls. Needless to say, they are stunned and voice concerns about the twins sharing the same morals as they've raised Trevor to have. After a tense meal, Rikki and Vikki try to show off their domestic side by clearing and washing the dishes. Unfortunately, the girls repeatedly drop utensils and show a little bit too much of themselves when they bend over to pick them up. Trevor's brother is impressed - but his parents aren't so convinced.
A Pair Beats Three Of A Kind
The twins decide to take the final three contestants on a "romantic getaway" to Las Vegas so everyone can connect on a deeper level. Rebekah, Scott and Trevor are thrilled to discover they'll be staying in a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel that has everything - even a pool table! The twins arrive and explain that they'll have one group date during the day for everyone and then one-on-one dates at night, where one of them will get to spend time with both twins while the others are left behind. All five sit down for their first lunch in Vegas and Rikki and Vikki agree that the right three contestants are there. As the contestants discuss what it's like to have made it so far, Scott confesses that the twins have changed him for the better and he can see himself falling in love with either of them. Rikki tears up at the sentiment, realizing just how close she is to finding love herself.
Who Will They Choose?
After Trevor's confession at the elimination, Vikki gets Rikki to admit that he indeed told her he loved her. Rikki claims she didn't say anything because she assumed that he had said the same thing to Vikki, but Vikki points out that the decision is made and there's nothing she can do about it now. With only Trevor and Rebekah left, the twins must each choose who they want to be with. The problem is they're not allowed to talk to each other about the decision, and if they both choose the same person, that person will have to choose between the twins.
Happy Hour
The eliminated contestants get together one last time to confront each other and the Ikki twins.
One Shot Too Many
Rikki, Vikki, Rebekah and Trevor sit down to talk for the first time since the dramatic finale.
