  • The Path
Eli has been vision-free for six months following the surgery to remove his brain aneurysm. However, hallucinations now seem to be happening to his brother, Nate, who believes he knows where Jordan is after a crane accident traps him in a building.

  • Grace
Eli's latest vision comes to him in the form of a gorgeous, confident, brunette singing to him. He discovers to his surprise that the girl - Grace - is real after he meets her at a baseball game, and he and Grace embark on a whirlwind romance. That same week he and Maggie represent a father who's trying to prevent his son, who died in Iraq, from receiving a military burial.

  • Unwritten
The twin stresses of Jordan's and Eli's cases plunge the two friends into an angry fight with the fate of their entire law firm hanging in the balance. Meanwhile, his father's diary leads Eli to discover that his visions of the future can be altered - but with shockingly unexpected results, culminating in a twist that no one, especially Eli, will see coming.

  • Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
In the aftermath of their law firm's split, Eli and Jordan struggle to retain associates. They must face the financial repercussions of Jordan's coup; the firm's largest clients opt to go with rival firm Posner/Klein. At Taylor's urging, Eli persuades Matt to help him on a case involving a Homeland Security arrest to show him how rewarding pro bono law can be and convince him to stay with the new firm that Jordan and Eli are building. Meanwhile, Eli's latest vision reveals the truth about Maggie's fianc, which ultimately leads to a defining decision about their relationship.

  • The Humanitarian
Eli convinces Jim Cooper, a billionaire philanthropist, to let them lead the charge to start a clinical trial testing the efficacy of medicinal marijuana as a cure for MS in children, namely Cooper's son. But Eli learns Cooper's son doesn't want to be a part of the trial, placing Eli in a moral dilemma. Meanwhile, Keith represents Patti's daughter after she's arrested for DUI, and Matt and Maggie work to expose a mole within Jordan and Eli's new firm who is helping Posner/Klein lure clients away.

  • Happy Birthday Nate
The visions guide Eli to clues in a teenage boy's emancipation trial against his powerful and intimidating father, Jim Cooper, a trial where Nate's medical expertise will prove to be vital - but threaten Nate's own career. Standing in his way are Matt and Maggie, who've been retained by Cooper, forcing the former friends and colleagues to face off against each other in court. Meanwhile, Taylor fears the worst when confronted with the reality she must tell Matt she's pregnant with his child, and Keith avoids Patti's daughter, who he suspects is doing drugs.

  • Help
As Eli and Keith defend Patti's daughter against drug charges, Eli believes she is innocent while Keith has his reservations. In time Eli will realize a greater meaning to his vision - one which will change his relationship with Patti forever. Meanwhile, an ultrasound and advice from Maggie gives Matt clarity on his relationship with Taylor; with help from Maggie's new client, Matt scores two tickets to Seal's concert for him and Taylor; and sensing Eli is feeling lonely, Dr. Chen arranges a blind date for Eli with one of his patients.

  • Owner Of A Lonely Heart
After a few dates with Ashley Cardiff, a patient of Dr. Chen's and client of Maggie's, Eli is prepared to tell her about his gift, but is surprised by her reaction. Yearning to find out his future leads Eli to Chen's rival, where he undergoes a dangerous procedure only to discover the unfortunate circumstances of Nate and Beth's engagement. Meanwhile, a vision of the future leads Eli to represent a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize who will one day discover cold fusion, and Taylor learns some unsettling truths about Jordan while representing him in his divorce from her stepmother.

  • Two Ministers
When Eli's latest vision has him questioning Nathan's fiance's devotion, he is restless to learn Nate's fate and turns to a new acupuncturist willing to perform the dangerous "Dark Truth" method that will help him see the future. Meanwhile, Keith and Eli defend a minister against discrimination, and Taylor and Matt learn there may be some complications with their unborn child.

  • Sonoma
Eli, Taylor, Matt, and Maggie go to a small town called Sonoma working on the same case. While there, Matt meets an old girlfriend who happens to be the judge. Eli and Maggie get intimate, and Dr. Chen reveals that he used the Dark Truth method on someone before Eli.

  • Mortal Combat
Having fraternized with Maggie in the bedroom, Eli now finds she is a formidable opponent in the courtroom. Maggie meets a man named Paul and falls in love with him, hurting Eli. Eli sees visions of Rome.

Doug's former employer, Emerson Financial, suffered losses as a result of poor decision making on the part of its ex-CEO. Consequently Doug and hundreds of Emerson Financial employees were laid off when the company claimed it could no longer afford to pay their salaries; yet its ex-CEO received $43 million when he was dismissed. Eli realizes they must take up the case on behalf of all those who were wrongfully terminated. Meanwhile, he's is having visions of his father on a plane.
