Severed Ties When a woman kidnaps two young girls, the SRU's wonder why she zeroed in on these children. Follow The Leader When two brothers get caught up in a white supremacy group that is planning a terrorist attack, one of the brothers rethinks his involvement. Whatever It Takes When a high school athlete is kidnapped and beaten, the SRU's wonder why he would threaten suicide after they attempted to rescue him. The Other Lane When the team is called to investigate gun shots in a fancy neighborhood, they are confronted with a group of dangerous gunrunners, one whom happens to be Ed's brother. Jumping At Shadows When a young girl calls 911 to talk to a dispatcher, the dispatcher does not believe that an intruder has entered her house until she hears the gun shots herself. When the SRU's arrive, they find her mother shot and the girl abducted. Acceptable Risk In the wake of a museum gala shooting spree, the SRU's actions and judgments are called into question; however, the investigator seems to be focusing on Sgt. Parker in particular. Collateral Damage The Strategic Response Unit is called in when a man charged with killing his own baby escapes a prison transport and is on the run. Thicker Than Blood The Strategic Response Unit steps in when a couple, whose young son is near death due to leukemia, takes desperate measures to save his life by stealing an identity and holding up a bank to get money for a bone marrow transplant. No Promises When gunmen prevent Team One from helping at a bus crash, Spike cannot believe that his former mentor might be involved. In a game of cat and mouse, the Strategic Response Unit must find these gunmen who have connections to a large drug ring. Terror While on a date, Jules steps into a hostage situation in progress at a restaurant. The SRU's are called in to take down the gunman, who is convinced that the restaurant is owned by a terrorist who is planning an attack. I'd Do Anything The SRU's attempt to take down a crime boss, but the plan backfires and the boss gets away, taking his girlfriend, who is the SRU's criminal informant, with him. Fault Lines An outsider is brought in to perform psychological testing on Team One, but fearing someone will be let go, they start to turn on each other. Meanwhile, Ed is shot on the way to the hospital for the birth of his child.
