Wake-Up Call Jeff's exasperation with his employees mounts when Sarah drops the ball during an important client meeting and Zoila is late for work. Meanwhile, Jeff gains a new client who happens to be the wife of rock musician Tommy Shaw. New York Or Bust Jeff and Jenni take a bite out of the Big Apple, but it could sour in New York when Jeff worries that his busy schedule is jeopardizing a job and a friendship. Meanwhile, Zoila's birthday draws near and Jeff plans to give her an over-the-top gift. What Stays In Vegas Jeff and his motley crew hightail it to Las Vegas and throw Sarah a bachelorette party. A return to Los Angeles finds Zoila preparing for her over-the-top birthday gift - a face-lift. She enters the hospital with a jittery Jeff and the gang by her side. Dropping The Axe Doctor's orders instruct Zoila to recuperate with bed rest for several weeks, but tough taskmaster Jeff still insists that she's perfectly capable of doing chores. Elsewhere, Sarah's behavior continues to test Jeff's patience, prompting his decision to have a difficult meeting with her. Don't Be Tardy To The Party Jeff tries to keep pace with the office's busy schedule, made more hectic with a reduced staff. He also works on finishing a salon, but disobedient staffers, overly demanding clients and fumbling contractors could lead to one of Jeff's patented blowups. Showdown At Sunshine Terrace Jeff hopes to land a job working on stylist Chaz Dean's salon in New York, but things get hairy when it appears he might not get the gig. Meanwhile, a client fires off steady insults at Jenni, and Jeff must try to balance protecting his staff and keeping his client satisfied. Money Changes Everything Jeff's suspicions grow about how one of his contractors is handling finances, a development that precipitates a fiery fight between the two. In domestic dramas, Jeff deals with a pet-related medical problem. Substitutes Nerve-rattled stress amplifies for Jeff when a major project falls into limbo, a contractor threatens legal action and Jenni's future at his company comes under scrutiny. There's No Place Like Home Jeff gets the urge to flip houses again, but realizes what he really wants is a home for him and Gage to settle down in.
