Included: a dangerous descent into an abandoned mineshaft; the mystery behind a 1942 plane-crash victim. Black Swan Inn The guys investigate alleged paranormal activity in the Black Swan Inn in San Antonio. Tuolumne Hospital The guys have a strange experience while touring the abandoned Tuolumne General Hospital in Sonora, Cal. Missouri State Prison Zak experiences mysterious stomach pains while he, Nick and Aaron tour the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City, Mo. Their investigation includes the hallways, dungeons and gas chamber of the prison, which closed in 2004. Yost Theatre & Ritz Hotel Zak, Nick and Aaron examine reports of strange and unusual happenings at the Yost Theater and the adjoining Ritz Hotel in Santa Ana, Cal. Their investigation leads them to a historical society that used to be the site of an illegal abortion clinic, and is believed by some to be haunted, a claim the guys look into while on lockdown. Haunted Victorian Mansion The guys pay tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing en route to a Victorian mansion that was abandoned by its owners, who claim an intense spiritual energy forced them to leave. Exorcist House Zak, Nick and Aaron visit the St. Louis home where the case that inspired "The Exorcist" movie took place. Alcatraz Zak, Nick and Aaron learn about the history of Alcatraz during their investigation into the famous prison. Included: A former inmate recalls the famed 1962 escape. Also: The guys take a charter boat to the allegedly haunted Golden Gate Bridge. Mustang Ranch The guys visit the Mustang Ranch, a legal brothel near Reno, to investigate claims of a male spirit attacking the female employees. Thornhaven Manor The owner of Thornhaven Manor in New Castle, Ind., wants the guys to investigate strange occurrences, including darting shadows, phantom stomping and a disembodied scream, all of which he alleges witnessing since purchasing the property in 2012. Battle Of Perryville Season 8 concludes with the guys visiting the small town of Perryville, Ky., and investigating a Civil War battlefield that saw more than 7600 casualties. They also explore two locations that are allegedly haunted by the ghosts of soldiers: the John Dye House, which served as a military hospital; and the privately owned H.P. Bottom House.
