Gladiators  premiered on BBCA on November 1, 2008. 12 all-new Gladiators rule the arena and control the fate of the Contenders in a bold reinvention of the hit show that took the television world by storm in the '90s! 12 athletes, including an Olympic medal-winning runner and a Royal Marine Commando make up the Gladiators team. They are pitted against 32 hand-picked Contenders to take on some of reality television's toughest challenges in the hopes of being crowned champion and winning the $100,000 prize. The show's original referee John Anderson presides over the events, joined by British soccer player Ian Wright, and sports commentator and TV personality, Kirsty Gallacher.
