Glory Days premiered on WB on January 16, 2002. Welcome to Glory, the Island of Happiness. Well, that's what the billboard says, anyway. The seemingly idyllic small island town in the Pacific Northwest is a breeding ground for eerie events, bizarre happenings and peculiar inhabitants where truth is often stranger than fiction, and sometimes even deadly. Infused with his trademark pop culture humor, Kevin Williamson brings a scary murder mystery to the small screen each week with this creepy, picture-perfect hamlet. Wunderkind novelist Mike Dolan returns to his hometown after "loosely" depicting the denizens of Glory in a best-selling murder mystery about the bizarre events surrounding his own father's supposedly accidental death. With the picturesque, yet freaky, town of Glory as the backdrop for his story, Mike used his family and friends as fictional fodder and an exorcism for his personal demons. With a flair for the dramatic, no one was spared from full disclosure and exaggeration of the truth normally kept behind closed doors. Now, at 25 and four years after his wunderkind success, Mike hasn't written a word, and doesn't exactly get a hero's welcome upon his return home. He's looking for a new lease on life... a chance to do something right, and maybe once and for all solve the mystery of his father's death. As he mends proverbial fences and plays amateur sleuth to unravel the mysteries lurking beneath the placid exterior of Glory Island, he may get his wish, and may even find some new inspiration.
