Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Ghost Whisperer Page Love Never Dies Melinda is greatly concerned when it seems that Andrea is being influenced by "Wide Brim." She goes to Professor Rick Payne, an expert in occult beliefs and history, to see if he can identify "Wide Brim" in order to win the battle for her friend's fate. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Melinda, a young man who seems to be obsessed with her makes plans to fly from Seattle to see her. Love Still Won't Die Melinda is haunted by the spirit of a young man who wants her to visit his wife, Donna, to make amends. When she does so, Melinda discovers that Donna is his former wife who divorced him because he was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, Melinda meets Delia Banks, the mother of a boy who is determined to steal some valuable memorabilia from her store, and Melinda is surprised to find out what is really motivating him. Drowned Lives Melinda and Jim befriend a new couple whose home is haunted by a 6-year-old girl who drowned in their swimming pool. While Melinda uncovers why the child's spirit wreaks havoc in the house, she also meets the girl's brother who blames himself for his sister's death. Meanwhile, Delia, who sold the couple the house, would like to stop them from moving out. The Ghost Within Melinda senses something strange about the ornaments that she and Delia come across at a flea market and is puzzled by the ghost that comes along with them who refuses to acknowledge her. When Melinda picks up any of the objects, she sees wild images that appear to be in the ghost's mind, which may be his only way of communicating with her. She decides to visit Professor Payne to see if he can explain the phenomenon. A Grave Matter At first, the ghost can't identify himself to Melinda, but he claims that the widow weeping at the graveside every day is not his wife. Slowly, the ghost is able to remember things about his life and confesses to Melinda that he abandoned his wife and young daughter, which mirrors Melinda's own background. As Melinda tries to put aside her personal feelings, she attempts to unravel the mystery of who is buried in the grave. The Woman Of His Dreams Jim senses that something strange is going on when beetles appear in their home during a card game with the guys. He then dreams about a beautiful woman holding an exotic cat and remembers that Melinda saw a cat ghost a few days earlier. Melinda calls and suggests that Jim visit Professor Rick Payne, an expert in the occult who she has consulted before, who helps Jim identify the woman as Eva. When Melinda returns home, she and Jim must help Eva's younger sister who appears to be following in Eva's dangerous footsteps. The Night We Met Melinda first sees the burning ghost inside the restaurant after it burns down for the second time. He tells her that he was not the one who set the restaurant on fire when it burned down the year before and Melinda tries to help him clear his name. Meanwhile, Melinda remembers the night that she and Jim met when a fire erupted in the building next door to where she lived. The Curse Of The Ninth Though it initially seems that it's Brandon's father's ghost who is terrorizing his son, Melinda discovers that Brandon's father has a ghost of his own, Jared, Brandon's deceased former bandmate. Jared was jealous of Brandon's talent and now Melinda must find a way to quiet Jared's fury so that his father can give Brandon the encouragement he needs to return to his music. Giving Up The Ghost Melinda encounters the angry ghost, Matt, a former pro-baseball player who crashed and burned and died in a car accident, when he tries to take over the body of a Justin Cotter, a young pitcher, during a high school ballgame. Justin is scared and confused and not aware of the battle taking place inside him. Melinda must show Justin what is happening to him and help the boy to turn his back on the powerful spirit. Cat's Claw Melinda's eerie encounters with a ghost continue to alter her surroundings to an unknown jungle filled with exotic plants and tribal manikins. Unfortunately, the ghost is plagued by a horrible condition that limits his speech and makes it difficult for Melinda to determine his needs. After a visit to Professor Payne links him to the ghost, he heatedly questions Melinda's motives for her intuitive inquiries. Dead To Rights While making volunteer hospital rounds with Delia and her therapy dog, Melinda encounters a desperate spirit trapped between life and death. Melinda realizes the spirit belongs to the body of a young man on life-support, who begs her to intervene. Unable to live and prevented from dying, the spirit is trapped by his own body, bitterly watching his parents and wife argue his fate. In addition, a bizarre haunting brings her closer to Professor Payne while Delia struggles to teach Ned, and ultimately herself, how to find closure. Deja Boo With her friend's pregnancy in danger, Melinda must act quickly to prevent a spirit from harming the unborn child. Professor Payne tries to help Melinda deal with the spirit with multiple personalities who is terrified of being reborn and desperate to avoid reliving a terrible past. Speed Demon Haunted by an angry spirit with a frightening prophecy of death, Melinda tries to figure out the meaning of a mysterious code that is linked to a secret drag racing society. When she discovers that Delia's son, Ned may be involved with the group, she follows him to their hidden location and uncovers the truth about a race of revenge. Mean Ghost With the cheerleading semi-finals just days away, Melinda scrambles to determine why the spirit of a cheerleader is destroying her former squad. When Melinda notices a connection between the angry teen ghost, the new head cheerleader and a withdrawn "Goth" student, she reaches out to the team's coach for more information. The Cradle Will Rock When a jewelry store is robbed, Melinda and Delia are among the victims. Soon after the incident, Melinda is contacted by a ghost who needs her help to contact his grieving wife. When Melinda arrives at his home to deliver the message, she discovers that the desperate criminal who robbed the bank is there, but only after he locks her in the basement. Trapped and fearing for her life, Melinda suddenly realizes that the ghost was also involved in the crime and is the only one who knows where the stolen money is hidden. The Walk-In After a visit from the corpse's spirit, Melinda meets with Payne and deduces that the missing corpse has been possessed by another earth bound spirit. Melinda searches for an explanation behind the body snatching and for the identities of the two spirits. Children Of Ghosts Melinda and Jim's family grows when they foster parent a teen with a dangerous spirit attached, and Homer the Ghost Dog returns, forcing Melinda to seek help from the Dog Whisperer. Deila's First Ghost After witnessing the spirit of Delia's husband sabotaging Delia's date, Melinda puts their friendship to the test and reveals her unique ability. The Collector Melinda is intrigued when she meets Gabriel, another Ghost Whisperer with the same abilities, but her fascination turns to fear when she discovers his connection to Professor Payne's wife. The Prophet Melinda fears for the safety of her loved ones when a prophet ghost shows her visions of a deadly future, and a fellow Ghost Whisperer, who Melinda doesn't trust continues to lurk around Grandview. The Gathering Fearing that the dark side is becoming more powerful than the light, Melinda searches for the meaning behind mythological clues before another tragedy strikes Grandview.
