    Forty kids from across America arrive in Bonanza City for 40 days, and are struck by the lack of comforts in town. Friendships and teamwork emerge, issues arise, the first Town Council convenes and the first Gold Star is awarded.

    The Pioneers become divided over where and how to obtain a new source of food.

    Disorder erupts among the Pioneers, prompting the Town Council to make some tough decisions regarding law and order that do not sit well with everyone in Bonanza City.

    Religious differences and Pioneer ire come to light when the Town Council suggests one religious ceremony to accommodate all faiths in Bonanza City.

  • Viva La Revolucion!
    While the Pioneers are excited to learn that they'll have the chance to choose new Town Council leaders, the current Town Council must now try their hardest to get themselves re-elected.

  • Bonanza Is Disgusting
    The Pioneers battle against Bonanza City's growing pollution problem when flies and rats infest the town. Meanwhile, the Town Council hands out its first punishment, leaving the scolded Pioneer angry, in tears and wanting to leave.

  • The Root Of All Evil
    Money brings out the best and worst in Bonanza City, when some Pioneers start selling goods on the street, impressing some and offending others, while one Pioneer vying for the Gold Star is accused of bribing the others for support.

  • Starved For Entertainment
    When the Pioneers hold a talent show, they prove to be quite the entertainers - acting, singing and performing standup - but everyone is caught by surprise when one of the Pioneers takes the stage to make a shocking announcement.

  • Not Even Close To Fair
    Resentment brews when one District suggests a controversial new name for itself, and Guylan says something that could turn his District against him. Meanwhile, a shocking announcement at the Town Hall meeting threatens friction among some Pioneers.

  • Let Me Talk!
    When the Town Council's efforts to improve communication and respect in Bonanza City backfire, one Pioneer is given an ultimatum, another makes the Town an offer that could affect his future there, and the Council issues a threat about the Gold Star.

  • I Just Like The Recess Part
    The Town Council bans Taylor from having fun, and she has a surprising reaction when her friends brag about the good times they're having without her. Meanwhile, the Council makes an interesting choice when they pick a law enforcer for Bonanza City.

  • Where's Bonanza, Dude?
    When the Town Council takes a trip beyond Bonanza City to meet with local Native Americans, the bossy Bonanza "sheriff" takes control of the town. Meanwhile, with their time together nearing an end, the other Pioneers enjoy their last few days in Bonanza.

  • We've All Decided To Go Mad!
    After 40 days on their own, the Pioneers of Bonanza City finally get to prove whether they've been able to create a working society, while also getting a few surprises of their own. When the Pioneers wake up on Day 38, they discover the Job Board destroyed. With the Job Board gone, they are left to keep the town up and running without their defined responsibilities and tasks to guide them. Will they let Bonanza City deteriorate, or will the Pioneers pull through and keep the town running? As this question is answered, an unlikely hero emerges in the final days. Additionally, the Pioneers must band together for their three final challenges. For each challenge they complete, they will receive a special reward - a Gold Star, this time worth $50,000, to be awarded to one Pioneer who has contributed the most to Bonanza City over the 40 days. Finally, before the Pioneers head home and leave Bonanza City forever, they receive one last heart-wrenching surprise that reduces everyone to tears.
