Having endured severe neglect, these dogs have behavorial and medical obstacles to overcome before they can be ready for adoption. 30 Dogs And Counting Two shaggy shelter dogs are saved from death row, but Shelly soon becomes attached to these sweet girls and must convince her husband Curtis to keep one. Panda, the back porch Pit bull that overcame parvo, is finally adopted. Diamonds In The Rough Brownie, a roadside stray from Mississippi, has complications from surgery that require rescuer Shelly to make a midnight rush to the emergency room. Shelly also rescues Shaggy, a six-year-old shelter dog with rotting teeth from the pound's death row. The Great Escape Time is running out for the stray dogs of Olive Branch, Mississippi, but rescuer Shelly is in a race to save as many of them as she can. As "Put to Sleep Day" looms, Shelly pulls two dogs from the shelter and devotes herself to their rescue and rehab.
