On a trip to North Carolina to guest teach at her alma mater, Hailey receives shocking information from her parents. A VIP guest scheduled to visit the New York Symphony has Gloria relishing in her triumph. A fan has an appealing offer for Thomas.

Significant Lover
A night of catastrophe at the symphony has Gloria solving a potential PR crisis and re-confirming a huge funder. Rodrigo is enthralled with the ballet, and Hailey attempts to network for the first time on her own.

An Honest Ghost
Set on communicating with Mozart, Rodrigo sees a rare classical music curator. Hailey has to prove she's up to the task of conducting for a new project. Thomas asks Cynthia to help him retrieve the piece that's missing in the Queens Philharmonic.

Busy prepping Hailey for her job, Rodrigo is diverted from Requiem. When a renowned composer approaches Gloria to debut new work with the NY Symphony, Thomas insists he knows better. Cynthia returns to music against her doctor's wishes with new purpose.

In Japan, Hailey battles new faces at the Fukusoft Conducting Competition. Rodrigo's knowledge of Mozart is tested by a fellow composer. Gloria battles Betty for Fukumoto's eye. Thomas unwillingly meets up with an ex.

Hailey's conductor competition ramps up while Rodrigo searches for Mozart, and they realize they need each other's support in tense times. At the same time, Thomas and Gloria admit what they've been hiding from each other.

Ichi Go Ichi E
Rodrigo and Hailey enjoy their last moments on vacation at a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Upon their return to New York, Hailey and Rodrigo realize things have changed. Thomas and Gloria have returned as well to an intense battle over Hesby's newest piece.
