Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Nashville Star Page The Road To Nashville The episode follows each of the finalists' roads to Nashville by tracing the audition and selection process. Twelve dynamic and talented individuals perform their own style of country music, reflecting their own style and personality, representing various parts of the country- and all vying for the coveted grand prize of a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville. Nashville Classics The twelve Nashville Star finalists each have the opportunity to shine as they perform country standards during the first round of competition, live from the BellSouth Acuff Theatre in Nashville. Styles Of Country 11 performances show us which styles of country music influenced the performers. Styles range from southern rock to bluegrass to western swing, some blues, a little honky tonk, and even a truck driving standard. Pop Goes Country The contestants perform pop hits in a country idiom. At the end, a fourth performer is dropped from the contest by the judges. Original Songs The contestants prove their mettle and step the competition up a notch by performing their original songs. American Songs The six remaining contestants perform songs that pay homage to the spirit of America. Also: Clint Black offers his insights on the aspirants' progress. Number Ones The finalists are whittled down to four as another hopeful falls by the wayside. Also: the survivors duet with guests Terri Clark and Trace Adkins. The Final Votes Contestants are paired off for duets. Grand Finale The winner is chosen. Clint Black performs along with Trace Adkins and Jo Dee Messina. Also: highlight clips; reflections from the finalists.
