Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Nashville Star Page The Road To Nashville The second season begins at Nashville's Grand Ol' Opry with the Warren Brothers and radio personality Billy Greenwood joining returning panelist Tracy Gershon to judge contestants. Number Ones After one discarded performer is given a second chance by viewer demand, the 11 survivors perform chart-topping country hits. Also: Montgomery Gentry. Love And Heartache Joe Nichols performs as the nine remaining contestants offer their renditions of classic country weepers. The judges narrow the field to eight at the close of the episode. Original Songs The contestants perform self-written material and another aspirant is jettisoned. Willie Songs Guest Willie Nelson performs, and the contestants sing some of his best-loved songs. Southern Rock Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd perform. Also: the voting is tabulated and one contestant gets the boot. The five finalists then offer their renditions of Southern-rock songs. Duets The finalists are whittled down to four as another hopeful falls by the wayside. Also: the survivors duet with guests Terri Clark and Trace Adkins. My Best Shot The judges make one more elimination before the three remaining finalists showcase the range of their abilities on their favorite material. Grand Finale The winner is announced and performs his or her first single. Before he or she is anointed, the three finalists perform one last time; and the two finalists are named.
