Rolling Hills Asylum
Since it opened in 1827 as the Genesee County Poor Farm, the Rolling Hills Asylum has had many faces. Some unfortunates never escaped the place, alive or dead-and haunt it to this day. Chairman of Paranormal Challenge, Zak Bagans gives two paranormal investigation teams the challenge.
East State Penitentiary
Eastern State Penitentiary was first built in 1822. Instead of reforming prisoners, it destroyed thousands of them by means of torture and abuse. Paranormal investigative expert Zak Bagans knows first hand that Eastern State Penitentiary is haunted. Now he hands two paranormal investigation teams the challenge.
Ohio State Reformatory
Two teams compete at the Ohio State Reformatory, a location that Zak Bagans claims to be one of the most haunted prisons he's ever investigated. Some suspect evidence creates a controversial decision for Zak and the judges.
West Virginia Penitentiary
For nearly 120 years, the West Virginia Penitentiary incarcerated the state's most violent criminals, earning it the distinction of being one of the most violent prisons in America. Zak Bagans has battled these violent spirits before.
Waverly Hills
Waverly Hills Sanatorium originally opened in 1910 as a hospital to accommodate tuberculosis patients. The facility had recorded thousands of deaths after a severe tuberculosis outbreak. The casualties were so high, it led to the construction of the "body chute".
Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
It's a battle of the sexes when two teams of amateur ghost hunters visit the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, W. Va., a former psychiatric hospital that's said to be one of the country's most haunted sites.
Old South Pittsburgh Hospital
Tennessee's own paranormal investigators compete against each other to see which team can collect the most compelling evidence in the decaying former medical facility at Old South Pittsburg Hospital.
