Pilot
New girl Emily Kmetko begins training at a gym alongside veterans who are both impressed with and threatened by her.
Where's Marty
With The Rock in shambles after the defection of Marty and Lauren, the parents try to pick up the pieces to get things ready in time for the girls to be ready for Nationals. The gymnasts aren't motivated, the coaches are unorganized and Emily is worried what this all means for her scholarship. While the parents have a meeting to discuss the future of the gym, Payson, Kaylie and Emily decide to go to Denver to confront Marty and get some much-needed answers. But when they arrive at The Denver Elite Gymnastics Club and see what they're up against, will the girls lose their nerve or really give Marty and Lauren a piece of their minds? Meanwhile, Lauren is starting to rethink her decision to leave her friends at The Rock behind when she gets a less than warm welcome to her new gym.
Blowing Off Steam
Tensions are still high at The Rock as the girls continue on without direction and with the surprise return of Lauren, Steve and a possible new heavyweight coach. Before the new coach's strict workout regimen takes effect, Emily, Payson and Kaylie decide to hit up a high school party to blow off some steam. Once at the party, Emily has an uncomfortable run-in with Razor, Kaylie has a fight with Carter after he realizes she lied to him, and Payson can't believe she's wasting her time at such a trivial event. Bringing more stress than fun to their lives, it's not exactly how the girls envisioned their evening. Meanwhile, Lauren's birthday takes a wrong turn when Summer shows up at her birthday dinner.
Sunday, Bloody Sasha, Sunday
Sasha puts the girls through a grueling day of practice as punishment for attending a party. Meanwhile, a power play develops among the parents as a decision is made about who will manage the gym.
Like Mother, Like Daughter, Like Supermodel
With a lack of funds facing The Rock team for Nationals, Kim and the other mothers decide to host a mother-daughter fashion show. But what starts as a fun idea ends up causing trouble for everyone. Ronnie is so busy with the details that Kaylie feels ignored, especially at a time when she could really use her mother's advice about love and sex. With her mother out of the country, Lauren is paired up with Summer, much to her chagrin, but tries to use this opportunity to catch Carter's eye. Furious at Chloe for spilling secrets to Damon, Emily is mortified for her "out there" mother to even be at the gym, let alone to walk a runway with her, while Payson, not wanting to waste time with "girlie things," tips off Kim that maybe she hasn't been a great role model in the feminine world. Will all the mother-daughter teams get it together in order to raise the money, or will the whole show become a nightmare that puts everyone at each other's throats? Meanwhile, after spotting her with Carter, Summer gets the feeling that Lauren is over her head in the boy department and tries to help by opening up.
Between A Rock And A Hard Place
Taking a gamble that the girls are ready and can use the motivation for Nationals, Sasha invites Marty and the Denver team to The Rock for an invitational meet. Payson is determined to show that she is the best, but when an old injury flares up, it might have devastating results. Emily is also resolved to show what she can do, but Sasha has other, less advanced plans for her. But with reigning Nationals champion Kelly Parker in tow, are the girls really ready for the Denver gym and this challenge? Meanwhile, Carter has to rethink his relationship with Kaylie when Sasha and Lauren give him an ultimatum.
Run, Emily, Run
After the devastating loss to the Denver gym, The Rock intensifies its training for Nationals. Adding to the pressure is the arrival of a television crew to do profile pieces on the girls and a pushy sports agent who only sees financial opportunities coming out of the gym. While most girls shake off the agent's advances, Payson sees her arrival as a chance to help her family out of a sticky financial situation, but will Payson's parents see the agent's plans as a godsend too? Meanwhile, Emily has to face the music after her disastrous performance at the invitational meet. Determined to still go to Nationals, she has to figure out a way to convince Sasha to let her back on the team.
All's Fair In Love, War And Gymnastics
The Cruz family host a send-off party for Nationals while their guests deal with their own agendas: Payson secretly obtains some medicine; Lauren takes a final shot at breaking up Carter and Kaylie; and Chloe hides her financial struggles from Emily.
Where's Kaylie?
After the disastrous party at the Cruz mansion, no one is in the right mind to focus on Nationals. Payson, feeling vulnerable with her back injury, is defensive about her position on the team; Emily is struggling with the re-appearance of Chloe's old boyfriend, Joe; Lauren faces the possible return of her mother; and Kaylie is miserable about the fight between her father and Carter. But when Carter comes clean to Kaylie about his infidelity, Kaylie disappears. Having to put their own worries and issues aside, the other three try to track her down to make sure she doesn't miss Nationals and her only shot at the Olympics. But can they find her in time and become the unbeatable team they need to be to dominate at Nationals? Meanwhile, Sasha is tipped off to Carter's extra-curricular gym activities and puts down a firm hand.
All That Glitters
Everything the ladies of The Rock have been working towards is finally here with the beginning of the National Gymnastics competition in Boston. Payson is more determined than ever to beat Kelly Parker and grab the National Champion title she deserves, even if she is still dealing with back pain. Kaylie feels pulled in many different directions - is she a normal teenager with a boyfriend, as Carter wants her to be, or is she an Olympic caliber gymnast, as her father wants, and can she figure it all out in time to compete? Lauren's angry attitude towards her mother, her father and Carter leaves her with a lack-luster performance which could risk her position in the standings. Emily, on the other hand, is petrified and fears that she is clearly over her head at this high stakes competition. Can Sasha get all of the girls in line and focused for the big event in time or will Nationals be a disaster for The Rock team?
The Eleventh Hour
Following her victory at Nationals, Kaylie is thrust into the media spotlight, alongside Nicky Russo the Men's National silver medalist. Emily and Lauren have also secured spots on the National Team, which leaves Payson depressed that she's not celebrating with her friends. And when Nicky returns to Payson's locker to remove the cortisone he gave her, Lauren greets him and tells him she's put it in a safe place. Will Lauren rat on Nicky and Payson? When Damon invites Emily to the Pizza Shack to celebrate her making the national team, where he has a romantic evening planned before he takes off to Los Angeles, the two are interrupted when Razor returns to the Shack looking for Damon. Meanwhile, as Kim helps nurse Payson back to health, Chloe steps in at The Rock and enlists Summer's help in running things.
Follow The Leader
While Kaylie's gymnastics career continues to soar, she struggles to help Payson deal with her injuries and, at the same time, tries to keep her arch enemy, Kelly Parker, in check. With all this added pressure, she also has to deal with Marty as her new coach. This leaves her feeling alone, and the only person she can talk to is Carter. And as the girls prepare for competition, they want someone they know and trust to help coach the team, so they conspire to get Marty fired. Meanwhile, Payson's negative feelings about her back injury finally turn into something positive. When Kaylie gets mad because she can't have Sasha as her gymnastics coach, she has to settle for her mother's ex-lover, Marty. Kaylie grapples with being put in the middle of so many secrets and betrayals with her family, her friends and Carter, whom she finally confronts for cheating on her with Lauren. Meanwhile, Emily's grades in math are slipping, and when a tutor is recommended, Chloe hires Razor. Will he help Emily turn her grades into A's, or is it an excuse for more one-on-one time? After licking the salt from her physical and emotional wounds, Payson finally has a confrontation with Sasha, who in turn helps Payson turn her negative feelings about gymnastics and training into something positive, while finding a new role at The Rock.
