The Rich List premiered on FOX on November 1, 2006. In this series, total strangers are thrown together to form two teams of two who compete against each other by filling in missing answers on a particular list. The topics range widely, with subjects like films directed by Steven Spielberg, hit singles by ABBA or states with a coastline. Contestants bid upwards against each other while predicting how many answers on a particular subject they will be able to list. If a team fails to list as many answers as they predicted, the other team wins the round. The winners of the best of three lists move on to play "The Rich List," a new game of list-making where increasing amounts of money are up for grabs; however, make a single mistake and you lose it all. But it doesn't end there - if you keep winning, you keep playing. The champions return to face a new set of opponents and try to win even more money in a potentially endless number of games.
