This Is Your Car On Drugs
This episode takes viewers inside some of the busiest international entry points to the U.S. At Los Angeles International Airport, a voluptuous 20-year-old woman arrives from Switzerland with no working papers but a suitcase full of titillating surprises! In the Pacific Northwest, at the Blaine, Washington border crossing, smugglers attempt to foil DHS canines by packing narcotics in baby diapers. Along the border between the U.S. and Mexico in the scorching heat of the desert outside of Tucson, Border Patrol agents race the clock to find six undocumented immigrants lost in the barren wilderness. In one of the most dramatic stories at the San Ysidro, California border crossing, a fake license plate tips a border officer off to a life-threatening situation. Meanwhile, there are some unusual illegal items intercepted at the International Mail Center in Carson, California, including a "delicacy" officers are shocked to discover is actually barbecued bats.
Looks Like It's Been Through An Autopsy
It's a real "head case" at the Detroit border when a befuddled man from Tennessee is stopped for questioning and is surprised that officers are concerned about the human skull and two undeclared handguns found in his van. Also in Detroit, a highly-intoxicated woman poses a dilemma for officers, since DUI falls under state law, not federal law, and they may be forced to release her; and at JFK in New York, a man has a "surprise in his pants," namely packs of pills that cannot be identified. On the border in Washington state, a CBP officer who was granted asylum from war torn Yugoslavia 15 years ago returns the favor by helping a frightened Cuban woman immigrate into the United States.

In Miami, suspicious cargo has agents baffled, while at the Calexico border, where 17,000 vehicles pass each day, the x-ray inspection of an SUV puts agents on alert. Hidden contraband, worth half a million dollars, causes jubilation for a veteran agent. At JFK Airport a passenger with a suspicious passport reports stomach pain, prompting an emergency trip to the hospital where the use of a high tech latrine helps crack the case. In El Paso, Texas, a young woman resorts to drastic measures to change her appearance to match her false ID. And on the northern border in Buffalo, New York, an American citizen is refused entry to Canada at the Peace Bridge the Virginia police are on the lookout for him, but why?
These Are Human Skulls So They Had To Belong To Somebody
At the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, CBP officers may have struck paydirt when they question a couple traveling to Dubai with piles of undeclared cash and conflicting stories about the money. The terminal of Miami International Airport is quickly emptied when a suitcase emitting a strange sound prompts an emergency evacuation. Is it just "good vibrations" or a bomb? At the San Francisco Mail Center, an officer makes a grisly discovery when he X-rays a box from China; what he finds shocks him. And in El Paso, Texas, at the Ysleta port of entry, where one quarter of all illegal drugs entering the U.S. are seized, officers rip apart a sedan in search of its secrets, while at JFK airport in New York, a bag search prompts a deadly avian flu quarantine.

In Buffalo, New York, a Turkish national traveling with his wife and child tries to emigrate to Canada, but when Customs and Border Protection discover something in hisl past, he may end up separated from his family indefinitely. At Pittsburgh International Airport, a daring M.I.T. student tests the Transportation Security Administration with his trivial pursuit of passenger rights. He refuses to show I.D. at the security checkpoint, playing his own version of "Are you smarter than a TSA officer?" Will he pass, or fail to board? Meanwhile, in El Paso, Texas, Customs and Border Protection officers are alerted when a canine colleague claws at the SUV of a young family crossing from Mexico into Texas. Even the seasoned officers are shocked by what they uncover. In the mail handling facility at New York's JFK airport, CBP officers may have discovered weapons in a package sent from Afghanistan.
Manatees? Y'know. Whatever. They're Cool.
In Miami, Florida, U.S. Coast Guard Agent Jesus Vazquez apprehends a young man jet skiing through a manatee zone without proof of registration. In Puerto Rico, the air and marine branch of customs and border protection spot a fishing boat stacked with packages speeding through waters, and when the boat hits shore, a suspect runs to avoid the police, inciting further suspicion. At JFK International Airport in New York, Patrick Van Der Eem, who claims to have cracked the Natalee Holloway case and says he's in the U.S. for television talk show appearances, is held for further questioning about a problem from his past. And a customs protection worker named "Dixie," who is also a beagle, sniffs out some curious lunch in the bag of a passenger arriving from Frankfurt.

En route to Cuba, an airline passenger experiences a different kind of heat when she's detained at Miami International Airport and suspected of carrying large sums of undeclared cash. Meanwhile in Laredo, Texas, agents wonder if a bus traveler from Mexico has more in mind than home repair when he enters the U.S. with four cabinet doors. Sixteen high-spirited young women cross the Ambassador Bridge from Canada and say they're heading to Detroit for a bachelorette party officers at the border try to make sure they're up to nothing more than fun and games. And Skagway, Alaska may be the "loneliest" U.S. crossing, but for the husband-and-wife agents at this border crossing with Canada, minimal traffic still means maximum diligence.
They Call Me The Rottweiler
At New York's JFK International Airport, Customs and Border Protection officers have spotted something unusual about the passports of two young girls traveling with a woman and her son. When a second woman claiming to be the mother of the two girls shows up at the airport -- and the two girls fail to recognize her - CBP officers do some investigating. Also at JFK, a flight from Africa brings a passenger whose declared destination doesn't match the ticket he's carrying. The man claims to be a professional boxer, but a few more surprises turn up in his bags. Meanwhile in Calexico, California on the U.S.-Mexico border, three teens trying to cross the border give CBP officers some strange answers to basic questions, and the surprises don't end there... Another CBP officer in Calexico is inspecting a four-door sedan to find over one million dollars in drugs.
What Kind Of Grades Did You Get In Recess?
Upon return from eight months abroad, a convicted sex offender is nabbed at O'Hare airport on an outstanding warrant because he may have failed to register as such. At the checkpoint in Falfurrias, Texas, a canine alerts his agent to a false wall in an RV hiding a stash worth over a million dollars. At Honolulu International Airport viewers will meet one of TSA's Behavioral Detection officers, Sean Weeks-Freeman, who is specially trained in observing body language for clues to suspicious passengers. In New Orleans, ICE agents head out on counterfeiting raids of a store and a flea market selling false goods, and a Coast Guard pilot remembers the heartbreaking rescues of her first week at work, during Hurricane Katrina. At the Buffalo, New York port of entry, a young Canadian woman who describes herself as a model and dancer is questioned - is she going to New York City to visit friends or to drum up work?
We're A Nation Of Immigrants. All Of Us
In Boston, more than 400 people are sworn in as U.S. citizens at a naturalization ceremony, while at a Los Angeles airport, two women on their way to Mexico are questioned about Chinese garments in their luggage. Also: the Coast Guard responds to a distress call near Miami; customs officials at a Michigan landfill sort through garbage shipped from Canada.

Also: a border-patrol officer in Texas must search the bags of someone he knew in high school; a canine officer investigates a woman's SUV in Detroit; authorities X-ray paintings for hidden contents at a Memphis mail facility.
