Spaced premiered on Channel 4 on September 24, 1999. This British sitcom was a self-styled "show about nothing," with a few media inside jokes thrown in. To save money, aspiring journalist Daisy Steiner and lazy comic-book artist Tim Bisley posed as a married yuppie couple and moved into the same flat. Other characters included flirtatious middle-aged landlady Marsha Klein, military-obsessed Mike, bombastic artist Brian, and requisite stuck-up snob Twist. The creators went on to make the zombie hit Shaun Of The Dead.
