Soaring Eagles!
The cameras follow students, teachers and parents as they roll up their sleeves and rebuild their own schools, concluding with the unveiling of a brand new, completely transformed school, starting with Enterprise Middle School in Compton, Calif. They are motivated by a quartet of community organizers and personalities.
Follow The Teachers!
A failing school, Lanier Elementary School, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is taken over by a group of young heroes, the teachers from Teach 4 America. These charismatic teachers inspire students, teachers and the community to transform their school with the help of local sports celebrities and pour their hearts out during the emotional reveal of the new facilities.
Rising From The Flood
After a destructive flood leaves Kingston Springs Elementary School in Kingston Springs, Tennessee in ruins, the parents, teachers and young students refuse to give up and join forces with the School Pride team to bring the school back to life and find closure. They are also surprised with a moving performance by Lady Antebellum.
Don't Shut Us Down!
The Communication and Media Arts High School in Detroit, Michigan, a school with a culture of achievement, is on the district's shut down list due to its rundown facilities. Students, parents and teachers have been fighting for three years to stay open. Now, with help from the School Pride team, they'll undertake a massive renovation that removes them from the close down list forever.
Hometown Heroes
Needles High School in Needles, Calif., severely lacks the resources needed to repair the ailing school grounds, but this small town is rich in community spirit and tradition. The students and families value the school, their football, and a special landmark - the town railroad. The School Pride team goes to work on the school and immerses themselves in the community, giving them a stunning new facility where they can be proud to continue their traditions.
Pride Of The Neighborhood
Hollenbeck Middle School in Los Angeles, Calif., struggles while other schools flourish with lavish resources. After a recent takeover by the L.A. Mayor, the students are thriving and even improving their test scores. With help from the School Pride team, the school will receive new athletic facilities and the students will get a positive boost from L.A. Laker Derek Fisher and former Dodger Manager Joe Torre.
Bring Back The Arts!
The Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES) fights to restore pride and achievement while its facilities are in shambles. After overcoming obstacles from the school district, the School Pride team and community race against the clock to provide an environment for these talented students.
