Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Taking The Stage Page Dance Off SCPA students are buzzing about an upcoming school talent showcase where the students will get to perform in front of judges made-up of music industry professionals including an executive from Jive Records. Tyler is new to the school and while Malik's and Shaakira's dance crew is the reigning hip-hop troupe in the school, he's more than ready to give them some long-overdue competition. Jasmine finds herself torn between her growing attraction to Tyler and her loyalty to Malik. Mia is working on an original song she wants to perform but wonders if her boyfriend will be there for her on the biggest night of her life. In order to perform well and get what could be their first big break, these students will have to fight through the personal drama in order to focus and impress the judges on show night. Couples Competition Tyler asks Jasmine to go to the school dance with him, putting her up against Malik and Shaakira for the couple's dance competition. Aaron asks Mia to go to the dance as "just friends," but struggles with his real feelings for her. Matthew calls Malik out for his poor behavior after the talent show, sending the couple into a fight that they're able to settle right before the dance - thanks to Shaakira's help. Jasmine is humiliated when she falls during their hip-hop performance, but feels better when Tyler says he wants to make things official between them. Malik finally feels validated from the talent show loss when he beats Tyler to win the couple's dance competition. Mia decides it's time to move on from her breakup with Brian, but remains oblivious to how Aaron feels about her. The Mash-Up With the SCPA alumni fundraiser coming up, the best musicians and dancers at the school are divided into "mash-up" groups for some special performances. While Jasmine and Shaakira find themselves dancing with Jesse and Aaron's rock band, Mia ends up in a group with Tyler and sparks between to fly between the two -- even though Tyler and Jasmine have just become an official couple. After killing in their dance and rock performance of "That's Not My Name" by the Ting Tings, Tyler and Mia almost end up kissing backstage...and then leave the fundraiser together. Later on, Shaakira informs Jasmine that Mia and Tyler were indeed making out in front of everyone at the after party. Although Tyler apologizes to Jasmine and insists he still wants to be with her, Jasmine's not sure she can still trust him. It's About Trust Determined to win Jasmine back, Tyler seeks out advice from Shaakira and has his little brother deliver Jasmine some roses. Meanwhile, Mia deals with the implications of kissing a "taken" guy -- all while trying to prepare for a singer/songwriter competition. Tensions rise when Tyler and Jasmine attend the showcase and Jasmine can't hide her disdain for Mia. After learning she's a finalist in the competition, Mia attempts to tell Jasmine her side of the story and explains that Tyler told her he wasn't in a relationship with Jasmine. Jasmine is so upset that she decides not to invite Tyler to her birthday party. Taking Shaakira's advice, Tyler surprises Jasmine with a special dance performance at her party and tells her he loves her. Jasmine's still not sure how she feels about Mia, but decides she wants to make things work with Tyler anyway. While Mia is a bit bummed to learn about Tyler's big surprise for Jasmine, she has something of her own to celebrate: winning the singer/songwriter competition and having her original song played on the radio. Is Love Alive? It's time for SCPA's big winter production of "The Nutcracker" and all the dancers are excited to land their dream roles. Shaakira works through her own insecurities and doubts to shine in her performance of the Snow Queen. Tyler, however, gets distracted from his first big dance role as the Russian when Jasmine gets upset because she catches him hugging Mia before the show. The encounter causes Tyler to mess up in his performance and get upset with Jasmine, who tries to forbid him from seeing Mia. Aaron hopes to get Mia over her crush on Tyler by confessing his own feelings for her through a song. Unfortunately for Aaron, Mia doesn't want to risk losing him as a friend by taking their relationship in a romantic direction. A Cinderella Story Jasmine gets invited to audition for Juilliard in Chicago - but as she's preparing for the audition, she also finds herself distracted by continued relationship problems with Tyler, which ends in the two agreeing to take a break. Things get worse when Jasmine gets cut from the auditions one round before the finals. Back in Cincinatti, Tyler and Malik against find themselves competing against each other when Tyler joins the Star Dance Team to go up against The Definition in the Jamfest hip-hop competition. Although The Definition are the underdogs of dance battle, their energy and drive lands them second place behind Tyler's Star Dance Team. Continuing to feel confused by his relationship with Jasmine, Tyler goes to Mia to talk until she puts her foot down and tells him she can't listen to him talk about Jasmine anymore -- but that she hopes he figures out what he really wants. Something's Gotta Give After deciding to end his break with Jasmine, Tyler gets in hot water by inviting both her and Mia to his birthday party. Mia calls him out for not actually wanting to be in a relationship with Jasmine and decides she's over her infatuation with him. Ultimately, Tyler decides she's right and ends things for good with Jasmine. Malik and Matthew also to decide to take a break from their relationship, but Malik channels his pain into a beautiful solo performance at the "Top Of The Charts" concert. Meanwhile, Aaron learns that he's missed too many classes to graduate and is no longer allowed to attend SCPA. The X Factor Tyler and Malik get the audition of a lifetime with a commercial dancing agency. Meanwhile, Mia heads to New York for a meeting with Jive Records. Mia also meets up with Tyler at a masquerade ball. The Graduation The seniors contemplate their futures as graduation day nears.
