Episode 101
A series of duels take place, with the opportunity to win money immediately. Additionally, money from "chips" lost in the game goes into a growing jackpot, available to win in a final Sunday matchup of the best players throughout the week. An internet censor proves her worth in a duel, but is unable to overcome a second opponent. Questions test knowledge of topics from the color of George W. Bush's eyes to the branches of the military.

Episode 102
For the first time, a player wins two duels, rising them to the top at the leaderboard. This episode also features the first male to win a duel. Along the way, contestants face questions that test their knowledge of everything from the number of Santa's reindeer (including Rudolph), to advanced knowledge of geography. One contestant is shocked to learn that the opponent they've chosen, a hillbilly, has a photographic memory and still remembers most of the information in the encyclopedias he read in fourth grade.

Episode 103
Robert (the Used Car Salesman) returns against Johnny (the Rocker) to complete Duel started the previous night. Robert goes on to become the winningest player on the show to date, with a total of three duel victories. Later contestants include a Belly Dancer and a College Administrator. With the Sunday championship drawing closer, the pressure grows as contestants from previous nights are bumped off the leaderboard. Additionally, several players from the contestants' pool passed on before once again find themselves passed up. Questions test the contestants on challenging material throughout the night, from the top worldwide film franchise to the official languages of both Canada and Mexico. Matches throughout the night see both quick action and down-to-the-last chip duels.

Episode 104
Robert, a Telemarketer from Chicago, Illinois and Tammy, a College Administrator from North Carolina, return to continue a duel started the previous night. The two have an exciting duel that comes down to the final chips. The stakes rise with just two episodes left before the Sunday championship. Players currently on the leaderboard find themselves in increasing danger as their low duel-win totals threaten to send them home at any time. Later contestants include Steve ("The Cab Driver"), Fritz ("The Umpire") and Ashlee ("The Nurse"), among others. The excitement of the game increases as the jackpot passes a major milestone. Contestants are challenged throughout the night with trivia covering everything from U.S. geography to the ingredients of a "Maharajah Mac" in New Delhi, India.

Episode 105
Ashlee, the nurse and Kimberley, the public relations executive, return to continue Duel they started the previous night. The two face a tough match, both having gleaned strategy from watching previous nights of play. Later contestants include Ken, the alligator wrestler and Ann, the litigation assistant, among others. All contestants find the pressure on, with this being the final night to qualify for the Sunday championship. Contestants in the lowest seats on the leaderboard find their positions vulnerable, knowing they could lose their spot just one episode away from the big match. Questions throughout the night test knowledge of topics ranging from the woman who's appeared the most times on the cover of Playboy magazine to the number of Snow White's dwarves minus the number of houses blown down by the Big Bad Wolf. The jackpot reaches a total of nearly 1.4 million dollars.

Episode 106
Ken, the alligator wrestler and Jim, the fire captain, return for a final qualifying match. The winner advances to the leaderboard, joining three others playing for the championship. Other contestants playing for the championship include Robert Elswick, Julie Tan and Ashlee Register. After the two have a fierce duel, the championship matches begin. There are first two semi-final matches, followed by the match for the big jackpot. The final jackpot reaches nearly 1.8 million dollars. Throughout the night, contestants face questions that challenge them on topics from the world's top-selling solo artist to the weight of a gallon of various liquids.
