The Heart Of The Home
Jodi Murphy is auctioning amazing household items from a million dollar home in the Hinsdale suburb of Chicago. Can she find more than one bidder for these luxurious materials? How much can she recycle?
Every Little Bit Counts
Demolition auctioneer, Jodi Murphy, is on a mission to prove that even a typical suburban home is full of recyclable materials. This 1950s house may not have all the antique items Jodi usually auctions off, but it still has the potential to pay off big!
Good As New
Demolition Auctioneer, Jodi Murphy, is selling the original materials from a 90-year old lakeside mansion in Wilmette, Illinois. The home inventory features an amazing corner library, one of a kind chandeliers, and a unique one of a kind art-deco bar.
Frozen In Time
Demolition Auctioneer, Jodi Murphy, is selling the original materials from a 1932 brick farm house in an upscale Chicago suburb. But limited inventory, specialized items and freezing temperatures are conspiring against her to pull off a successful auction.
Out With The Old, In With The New
The shores of Lake Michigan are where Jodi Murphy finds her latest home for auction. Between the limestone portico, entrance ironwork, and marble mantles it's more a matter of who can carry these over sized goods away than who will be willing to buy them.
Luck Of The Irish
Jodi's next house is a beautiful Tudor in Downer's Grove, IL. The auction attracts everyday bargain hunters and salvage pros. Jodi is determined to save as much of this house as she can. When the items are added up, they equal a retail value of almost $18,000. But to get the deals, auction goers have to duke it out. Will they go away happy?
Completing The Home
Jodi Murphy turns her auctioning sights to a three-story townhouse in the trendy Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Things look promising right from the start: in-demand pine flooring, stylish master bath fixtures, and kitchen cabinets to die for. It appears to have all the goods and then some! With materials that are newer or better than ones her customers already own, Jodi is hoping to resell and recycle all of it. Loosening the purse strings of some of her more frugal buyers may prove to be a greater challenge than anticipated. But Jodi's got reinforcements; she has not one, not two, but THREE Murphy daughters to corral and coax the bidders into sealing the deal.
A Grand Victorian
A home in the Chicago suburb of Hinsdale is up for auction. Enter Jodi Murphy who must recycle all the contents of the home to prevent it from ending up in a landfill. Dozens of bidders hoping to score unreal bargains on hard to find items are the main ingredients for some highly heated negotiations. Once you add a little Jodi to the mix everything is sure to turn out perfect!
Expect The Unexpected
Jodi Murphy faces a huge challenge this week with a four-bedroom home in Evanston, Illinois. The interior is somewhat dated, which means Jodi has her work cut out for her trying to auction older light fixtures, bathrooms and kitchen cabinets. Just when she hits a low point, Jodi discovers three levels of oak flooring under the old carpet! Jackpot!! Now, she's back in the game, wheelin' and dealin' everything in this home.
Something Old, Something New
Jodi has her sights set on a Lincoln Park home in north Chicago that has both. Some highlights include wrought iron stair rails, wooden newel posts and oak flooring. Jodi hopes the brand new kitchen and 800 square foot sunroom will entice buyers with more modern tastes to bid because everything has a story. Through reuse bidders will be making something old into something new, which ultimately keeps items from the landfill.
The Fairest Of Them All
It's Jodi's biggest auction ever at a grand mansion in Hinsdale. Bidders arrive in droves throwing down thousands of dollars in cash for items they know they'll never see again at these prices. This auction is one for the ages.
The Little Jodi That Could
Jodi takes on her toughest auction to date with bidders low-balling her on a home full of brand new items. Jodi struggles to get fair prices on all the great materials, but can she break down the bidders before they break her?
